View from the room was great, the staff was wonderful and ability to walk everywhere was fantastic!

The room was very well equipped & convenient

The front desk person was grumpy. The spa and pool were closed. The restaurant had a TON of flies inside, and they messed up my order, giving me a meat dish when I ordered vegetarian. There was a half drunk Coke in the mini fridge. The shower handles cannot be reached unless already under the shower head, so you have no choice but to be hit with cold water. The toilet has a bidet button that can’t be reached from the toilet. There are so many places to stay, there’s no need to choose this place.

Lovely boutique hotel, amazing characterful rooms, good breakfast and location. Staff generally cheerful and helpful. Nice touches like loan of a rucksack. Shame the pool was closed as that and the bar were really the only facilities in the hotel but plenty else to do in Zermatt. A secure WiFi would have been helpful.

Swiss style!

Great service and super clean. It was in a great location, close to a lot of the amenities that Zermatt had to offer. Many added perks to staying here from breakfast which is included with your stay, to the spa and tea time offerings daily. The rooms were sound proof, spacious and cozy. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the Zermatt area.

A beautiful property that offered exceptional service and comfort.

We stated at Hotel Julen for 2 days May 7 & 8th to go up the Matterhorn. Our room was very nice and very clean, staff were very friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast had everything anyone could desire. We had supper at one of the restaurants ( Schaferstube) in the hotel on our 2nd night. For those looking for a traditional Swiss atmosphere and food we would highly recommend it. We had the beef fondue which was excellent. Location is excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean hotel with great amenities. It’s centrally located and has great restaurant options including one at sister hotel across the street. I can’t say enough good things about the attentive and caring staff.

The Tradition Julen is a fantastic hotel with an incredible location offering stunning views of the Matterhorn. The staff was as friendly and helpful as could be, the room was beautiful and the breakfasts were amazing. Very, very easy walking distance (a few blocks) to the heart of Zermatt.

Wonderful hotel! Highly recommend!

Hotel Julien is charming and the staff is so friendly and attentive to their guests. The rooms are so nice, many extras that you don't see at other hotels. My only negative comment is that there didn't seem to be appropriate covering on the bathroom window for night time use, and it was difficult to reach close to the bathroom mirror to apply makeup.
