Good stay , highly recommending.

The overall condition of the property needs attention. There are broken windows at the front of the building, stair treads that need replacement. We moved to another room due to mould in one corner of the bedroom and around the window. Air-conditioning did not work. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was a little tough to find but charming once we got there, great lady who checked us in, very friendly and had excellent suggestions on the area for eating and getting around. Free parking on site was a bonus and quite secure, really enjoyed our meal and wine at the on site restaurant. The room was a little small but worked well for the 2 of us for an overnight stay.

Fabulous for a family!

Hotel was clean but twin room was very small and a bit tired. No wash basin in toilet. The breakfast was comprehensive and good value, good bar and restaurant facilities. Best of all were the staff, all very helpful and friendly. We'd definitely stay again but pay a little more for a bigger room.

Situated in a typically charming small French town, on a quiet high street lined with well tended planters, this beautiful ivy covered hotel is lovely. There wasn’t a lift, I was led up a staircase by a friendly and welcoming receptionist, along a slightly shabby corridor to a lovely room with its balcony over a fountain in a wisteria lined courtyard. The room was clean and quiet. I had a lock up garage for my car. I was very happy with my stay.

Nice hotel. Good location

The hotel was good for us, room was big enough for a baby and a dog. Lovely town with large park to walk around. We stayed over on way back from Spain and on a Sunday, it felt like everything was closed apart from the supermarket.

Nice hotel. It was comfortable. Pleasant staff. It's not a 5 star but it's good value a pleasant small town located conveniently to many chateaus.

The hotel is ok; perhaps a little tired and shabby, and in need of a bit of spit and Polish. Room was small but ok, and bed was comfortable enough. No fan or a/c so it was too hot to sleep. The area is conveniently close to Merignac airport and a few wineries. There are few amenities nearby. A good baker and convenience store across the road. Most shops shut Sunday AND Monday!

2 night stay 20 minstrel from bayeaux

Stayed at Chalet Lyrique as midway point of drive from Zeebrugge ferry to Central Portugal. Family of three with dog, so roomwas basic but adequate. Arrived at 8pm. Good locationapprox 1m from motorway south of Bordeaux. Good range of shops close by, with a decent park to walk the dog within 5 mins. Park in car park opposite whenyou arrive, as hotel car park eaisier to scout on foot first.

The room was basic and in need of renovation, some TLC needed for air con. The hotel staff spoke good English and the courtyard of the hotel was lovely. The restaurant outside was also great and worth a visit. The airport was about 20 minutes drive away.

We enjoyed the town of Gradignan, fabulous boulangerie across the street! "Simply" market very close. Easy drive to Medoc region. Restaurant at the hotel about the best in town. Hotel is older, but clean and quiet.

La stanza era una mansarda soffocante. Dovevo stare sempre attenta a non farmi male. Il personale gentile però non mi sembrava per niente un hotel a tre stelle, non c'era neanche l'ascensore...
