Enjoyable stay here. Hotel has an eclectic/bohemian feel in its decoration which we enjoyed. Both hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent for a 3* hotel. Looking out of the shuttered windows of the room makes you feel like a local. Car parking at a subsidised rate at the local Indigo multistorey worked fine. Would happily return here.

The Hotel du Cygne could not have been more perfect. The proprietors were charming as well as the decor. The fact that the establishment was dog friendly was an added bonus. Any question was answered. They offered a refrigerator to store my dog's food. I wholeheartedly recommend making this Hotel your base in the Loire Valley, and make day trips to the neighboring Chateaux. The train station is an easy 7 minute walk from the hotel. The nearby street offers a plethora of international cuisine, as well as a grocery and Laundromat.

Had high expectations due to great reviews but was a little disappointed. Room was very small as expected. Wall paper was a bit tired. Odd noise from we are not sure what was bothersome. Bike parking was very tight and difficult to access. Also it is an uncovered outdoor space near the garbage. Of course it rained.

What a lovely place this is and David was such a gracious host. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom is completely updated and comfortable. The hotel is wonderfully placed in the middle of the old section of town. There are many cafés and restaurants within walking distance as well as the beautiful old Cathedral. We did not choose to have breakfast there but I could tell it was prepared with much care and looked delicious! The only thing to be aware of is that there are stairs up to the rooms and no elevator so for someone who is disabled this would not be a good match. Also there’s limited street parking and the parking garage is an eight minute walk from the hotel. If that isn’t a problem for you then this is a great place! We really had a wonderful stay at the Hotel du Cygne!
