Loved the spa bath the most, always love staying here, very clean etc

Lovely friendly hosts and a really beautiful clean pool and spa with a nice poolside area. Very quiet rooms, positioned back from the road. Shower was good and strong.

The Motel itself and staff were excellent. The room was really clean and comfortable for the two of us. Pool and hot tub were great. The shower was fab! A little bit of noise in the mornings from the road but nothing much to worry about. Easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and pier. Side note- was nothing to do with the motel and they have complained about it but one of the nights there was a group of youths on the beach with their cars and loud music which went on till 4/5am. Apparently the council and police are not prepared to do anything about it. Not the motels fault and I have a lot of sympathy for the local businesses

Very friendly,accommodating staff

I was traveling for work and wanted a safe and quiet place to stay. The Anchorage was perfect for my needs. I enjoyed my overnight stay, and I appreciated its convenient location from a variety of dining options within walking distance and right across from the beach. I will certainly stay again on next trip.

Great value well kept property across from beach south end of Paihia main strip.

A bit 1950s, but super nice people. We enjoyed our stay here. The location was very nice, but the key would get stuck in the lock and needed a fancy jiggle to get it out. Owners might think about changing the locks for ones that work.

Pros: Nice clean and well maintained facility. Easy walk to Paihia village and many good eateries. Pool area is nice. Excellent spacious shower and water pressure. Staff friendly. Cons: No privacy - we were right beside the reception ground floor - would benefit from net curtains so you can actually have drapes open and people can’t look at you while constantly walking past to go to the office or congregate outside talking. Bathroom very small no shelf to put your toiletries. These units need double glazing we were kept awake by other people talking outside our unit half the night or cars driving past playing loud music. Could also hear the people upstairs stomping around literally all through the night. Glad to get home for a decent nights sleep. Also just one coffee bag per day for 2 people?? Be aware there is no sky at this place so if you want to watch sport you need to go elsewhere
