The restaurant experience was extraordinary, the reception was the most welcoming, the room was modern and clean. I say, if anyone is in the area, recommend to stay at this hotel and dine at Ivan Vautier. It will bring your Normandy experience on the whole new level . The only issue was our room faced the street and it was noisy all night, had to close the window and then it was ok. Highly recommend this hotel and the restaurant.

It is a nice hotel located outside the city center of Caen. Although listed as 5 star, it would be closer to 4 star in my opinion.

Very nice small hotel not too far from the center of Caen. Room was comfortable with all amenities. Restaurant is fabulous!!

The location is outside city center. There is a nice free parking. The bathroom is spacious. The mattrass is alittle V shape, the TV screen is small and far. The service is excelent.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. Very convenient for touring Normandy. Need to replace some of the beds.

Spacious room, friendly staffs, easy parking

While the room itself was pretty nice, the decoration with a lot of taste...., I must say that this hotel falls short of a five-star experience; I would rate it as a three-star establishment, at most. For example, Although they advertise 24-hour room service, it is nonexistent. The shower was leaking so significantly that I almost had to turn it off, and the room cleaning was average. The most disappointing aspect was the self-service breakfast—the food was utterly tasteless and unappetizing. Based on my experience, I will not be booking this hotel again.

The property is located about a 25 minute walk away from Caen city centre. The surrounding area is very quiet and safe with lots of delicious patisseries very close by ( highly recommend trying). The room has everything you need, is very comfortable, clean and air-conditioned. The hotel has an area for workouts, with 3 pieces of aerobic equipment. This room is not like a normal gym, it is carpeted with chairs and tables in ( presumably for those waiting to use the spa?) with no ac ( that I found). But can easily do a workout in there. The hotel has private parking. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast, which has everything youd expect from a continental breakfast. The staff are all lovely and very welcoming. Highly recommend.

The staff in the hotel and the restaurant were attentive, courteous and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and large. The dinner we had in the restaurant was excellent.

The room was amazing. Very comfortable and roomy. Staff was very good. Breakfast is highly recommended - it was a good selection and high quality. My only complaint is that the room had an amazing bathtub but on the two occasions that I tried to take a bath there was only enough hot water for about 4 inches of the bathtub. Pretty disappointing as I'm a real bath person.

We visited the WW1 and WW2 sites and cemeteries in Normandy area. Hotel was conveniently located to the areas we visited. The room was a decent size and well equipped. The hotel and facilities were very clean and well kept. The Michelin rated restaurant in the hotel was a wonderful dining experience. Don’t miss your chance to dine in an excellent environment. Book your reservation when you check in. I recommend “la selection de rapas en toute confiance”. An excellent 5 days in Caen.
