The cutest rustic and homey hotel. The property is gorgeous and within walking distance from the downtown area as well as the bus station (took the bus to El Chaltén from here). Room was simple but clean and well cared for with a decent sized shower in the bathroom. The included breakfast was very good and I particularly enjoyed the orange juice and coffee. I truly do not think I could have picked a better place to stay and would highly recommend Picos del Sur for anyone staying in El Calafate

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel also stored our luggage while we did the W trek.

Good location, excellent view, close to everything, 10 min waking distance to everything, transportation and center of town, even closer to one of our favorite restaurants ISABEL AL DISCO

Hotel is in very cozy, staff is very friendly and helpful. It's close to the town, a only 5 minute walking from restaurants and grocery store. Breakfast was delicious and with a great variety of choices.

Hotel Picos del Sur offers a fairly convenient location, just a 10-minute walk from the main street of El Calafate. The rooms are clean, though the amenities are somewhat below average, and the bed is decent for a comfortable night’s rest. Breakfast is an average continental selection, enough to start the day. There’s a small sit-up bar and a restaurant on-site, though the menu is quite limited. Check-out is at 10 a.m. The property also features a nice patio area with a great view over the grounds. Staff are friendly, and overall the hotel offers pretty good value for the price.

Rather dated hotel, basic room, good views, parking available and a short walk to the town. Not the best hotel, seemed to be popular with tour groups. Breakfast ok but not a great variety of healthy options.

Very nice hotel, located near the main road, quiet and cozy. Breakfast was pretty good,staff was great and friendly! Ver good option to stay @ Calafate
