Absolutely beautiful hotel this is the second time we have stayed here. Staf so friendly can bot do enough for you. Excellent position within walking distance of the square. Rooms very spacious and clean highly recommend this hotel so relaxing

Amazing find. Set slightly out of town this picturesque haven of a hotel was a beautiful stop off destination to explore Altea. Staff were very friendly and the pool area was beautifully secluded and tranquil. Rooms were spotless, comfortable and really well proportioned. Breakfast was simple yet catered for every taste, can not fault this hotel in any way and cannot wait to come back in the summer.

This authentic Spanish hotel is charming and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. This was our 3rd visit and just as lovely as our first. The old olive press in the dining room is a real feature.

Great little family run hotel, 400m walk from the old town. Good breakfast, good restaurant menu and pool!

Our first weekend trip away since COVID locked us all down. Altea is just a 40 minute journey from where we live, however the feeling at Hotel Tossal is that we were much further away. A tranquil spot high in the Old Town, this hotel has olde worlde charm at its best. The staff make you feel welcome as if you were a friend, the restaurant serves high class dishes, there was no need for us to find another place to eat. Our room was large with a large terrace also with views to the sea and the mountains. Highly recommended.

Rooms are basic, but clean. Ours didn't have much of a view. The tiny balcony opened onto the roof of the outdoor dining area below. The price was fair for the quality of the room/service.

Only complaint was the tb,i could not make it swap channels.asked for help,but that changed nothing.a minor problem,i admit...

I am pleased with everything, I will stay here next time I visit Altea for sure.

This hotel is a little off the beaten path and a bit rough around the edges. It was a very nice reprieve from the over stimulation of the beach front properties and surprisingly close to the "old town" and all of the truly fantastic restaurants. Fantastic staff and so quiet. The house cat, "Missy" was there to welcome us each time we returned during the day.

lovely rustic hotel with friendly staff and lots of character. converted from a 300yr old olive mill, rural and yet only 5 minutes to the beautiful old town of Altea.

Lovely hotel with lovely helpful staff. The restaurant served fabulous good either from the menu or you could have the menu of the day which was 3 course and 20€ a head. Definitely be back.

Great hotel, excellent staff and facilities. Could be quite noisy from restaurant below late at night from setting up for next day. But overall excellent stay and would stay again without hesitation.

My wife and I stayed one night while visiting the Altea and Calp area. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. After checking in on the Wednesday afternoon We were able to enjoy a swim in the pool and a couple of hours sunbathing. That evening we dined at the amazing Oustau restaurant in the old town. We checked out of the hotel after breakfast the following morning having thoroughly enjoyed our short visit.
