Charming hotel with a microbrewery and beergarden. Some aspects are a little dated, but everything is spotless and well maintained. Rooms have a pleasant country house feel. Situated a few km out of Trier, it's walkable to town (around 40 mins). Surrounded by steep green slopes of riesling vineyards it's a peaceful place to stay. We ate at the restaurant, where there was a nice buzz on a Friday evening. Vegetarian/vegan meals are available alongside hearty biergarten dishes as well as craft beer and wine from local producers. The hotel has a small indoor pool and a sauna, free to use for guests. We didn't this time round, but it looked good. Buffet breakfast was good as well. Staff are pleasant and spoke some English to make up for our limited German.

Good breakfast. Only 20 min walk to Roman baths along pretty little river trail past many private gardens and a beer garden. Enjoyed spa and pool.

Pleasant and peaceful hotel within walking distance of the amphitheater and the other attractions. They were very kind to give us a small gift because we were celebrating our anniversary. There was also a complimentary bottle of water. The room was comfortable, and there was a tower fan that was nice as I stayed in the summer. The breakfast seemed to be designed with health consciousness in mind. In particular, there was a good selection of cold cuts and cheese.

A lovely, friendly atmosphere, good outside beer garden/restaurant. Recommend.

Room so tiny and no amenities and billing errors

The rooms are a little tired and the pool area is far from appealing - to the point I didn't get in the water... Nice staff and lovely beers.

I stayed a week ago in hotel called Germania in Neuwied, which I booked with booking. Com. Unfortunately I wouldn’t classify that hotel as even one start. It was so horrible.

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Great brewery. It was a little loud at night. Would stay here again.

Wonderful family run hotel. We spent New Years Eve there and had a wonderful time. Their event was well planned with delicious food and live bands.

Short bus ride or moderate walk to the main section of the city. Room was nice but lacked a fridge.

The hotel was just as described and all the staff wer very helpful and friendly. We hope to visit the same hotel in the future.

This place was perfect for a family with kids. The biergarten had a kids play space with good food and beer. The breakfast was also really nice and had everything. The only con was that it was rather warm since there isn't air-conditioning, but it seems to be the norm for Europe. We would definitely go back here.

Staff is outstanding and make the extra effort in so many ways that make the service exceptional. Rooms are comfortable without being extravagant. Though not old, unlike much of Trier, it feels like a really comfortable pair of slippers that welcome you to relax after a busy day.

Very relaxing

in the centre of town and the parking was close by. the room was extremely large and very clean. only drawback was the 2 floors to bring your luggage up as there was no elevator.
