Close to Benh Tan Market, lots of food

The hotel is conveniently located, just a few steps from Ben Thanh market. The room is nice, spacious, clean, fully equipped. The staff is enthusiastic, helping me change facilities when there were no more rooms and carrying my suitcase up and down the stairs. Will come back if I have the opportunity to visit Ho Chi Minh City again.

The hotel is right in the center of District 1, across from BT Market, but the price is very reasonable. Next to the hotel, there is Pho 2000 restaurant with delicious food. The guests are bustling and crowded, very happy... The hotel receptionist is enthusiastic, the room is quite neat and clean. The TV works well, the faucets in the toilet are also strong. I have stayed in many hotels in the center of the budget segment, but I find this hotel to be the cheapest and the best. Right in the center, easy to go anywhere...

This hotel is great, near Ben Thanh Market and a halal restaurant. The room is also clean and comfortable. And on the ground floor, there is also a restaurant.

Mình thuê phòng 2 giường ở tầng 2, checkin lúc 14h nhưng đến 15h30 mình mới nhận được phòng do khách sạn báo có đoàn checkin trễ nên phải đợi dọn dẹp. Vấn đề là mình đã đến lúc 15h kém nhưng vẫn phải đợi hơn gần 45p mới nhận được phòng. Gia đình có 2 bé nhỏ đợi như vậy khá vất vả vì các bé đi đường xa đến không được nghỉ ngơi. Lại còn đồ đạc lỉnh kỉnh phải tự mang lên (mình đi 2 phụ nữ 2 bé nhỏ nhưng nhân viên không đề nghị giúp luôn 😅). Nói chung thấy lễ tân không nhiệt tình lắm :) Ga giường chỉ được làm phẳng thôi chứ không được thay thì phải nên nằm lên cảm giác không thoải mái lắm. Wifi chập chờn, cả buổi mới vào được nhưng tự out ra luôn. Nói chung mình phải bật 4G suốt 2 ngày mới online được, có khi phòng kín quá cũng không bắt được sóng điện thoại luôn. Được cái khách sạn đầy đủ tiện nghi toilet khá sạch, tivi mạng ổn nhiều kênh cho bé xem được, dưới khách sạn nhiều hàng quán, bước qua bên kia đường là chợ Bến Thành nên thuận tiện việc đi lại.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean but too poorly soundproofed!

When I arrived from abroad around 17.00, the receptionist was rejecting my booking as they was not looking for my name nor asking my passport, instead they looking at traveloka name in their system. We debated around half an hour, as they argue that I was wrongly booking the Hotel. They mentioned that I should go to another hotel as it is printed as “Avanti Boutique Hotel (former Lavender Hotel)”. They don’t know the meaning of “former” and push me to call Lavender Hotel or agent. Just about to leave the hotel, they found my name in the system and confirm that I was correct (after 30 minutes debate). The room was very small and not as per the pictures. The receptionist, bell boy and staff is not polite.

Good location, friendly staffs, highly recommended.
