The staff was very friendly and even gave us a room with a better view after we kindly asked. The hotel is located nearby all the best things in Scopello.

Perfect location to visit Scopello and the different Calas around. Very good service and facilites.

This was Italy’s equivalent of motel 6 and had all the expected comfort and amenities of a hotel that is $200/night. Unfortunately, La Tavernetta was fully booked and we had to spend our last night in Scopello at this place. The hotel is dirty and beyond loud. At 3 am, it felt like they were moving it was so loud in the hotel (or maybe a herd of wild horses were in stampede). The night shift manager did not speak a word of English (thank god for google translate). The only positive part of this experience was Liliana, the day shift manager.

Beautiful spot!!! Lovely view, great pool, very nice staff. The rooms are a bit dated but everything is spotless. Will definitely be back. Scopello is wonderful and Baglio dello Zingaro is the place to stay to enjoy it. Grazi!

Great place to stay if you are visiting Scopello. Just as a warning if you are using Apple or Google Maps, you need to drive further along the main road to avoid entering the ZTL zone to get to the hotel. If you enter the ZTL, you could get a ticket from the camera that captures your license plate. I temporarily parked outside the ZTL to check-in and then asked for directions from the front desk on how to get to the hotel without going through the ZTL.

Breakfast old and stale. But Italian breakfasts aren’t the best in any hotel.

Hotel was nice , clean. Good breakfast. Overall some maintenance would be good the toilet had issues flushing

Wonderful hotel in a lovely location - this is a hidden gem! Modern hotel, beautifully decorated, very functional and well thought, spacious rooms, has a big swimming pool and an amphitheatre for shows. It’s 3 min away (walking) from the centre of charming Scopello where there are multiple dining and shopping possibilities. Personnel is friendly and helpful, everything was great!

I think that bearing in mind the relatively basic quality of the furnishings / decorations on this hotel it was overpriced. That being said I am not aware of other Scopello prices, only basing this on prices in nicer hotels elsewhere in Sicily

The hotel is perfect for families, as it has a small swimming pool in the courtyard and is in a walking distance from the center of the town.

Nice hotel, clean room, friendly staff. Room bit basic with no pictures or even a bin. No bar or restaurant on site which is a shame. On plus side nice pool, minibar in room, comfy beds, excellent air con. Breakfast basic. Location excellent.

What a fantastic find. Charming, quaint hotel with views to take your breath away. Still untouched by obnoxious tourists and totally affordable.

Hotel booking form gave the hotel's address as Castellmarre del Gulfo,(never mentioning Scopello!) so once we established that it should read Scopello, we finally found the hotel. There were signs leading us to the village for so far but then they ran out or we certainly could not find them! Hotel opened in May 2010, so all clean, fresh and new with helpful staff and our room had wonderful views of the coastline. The local beach was rocky with beautiful blue water and was a steep trek back to the village. Substantial breakfast. Local scenery just spectacular.

Nice place with parking, which may not be guaranteed in scopello. Very nice room, very nice breakfast. Very helpful receptionist. Very central, but this place is very small, so most hotels should be.
