Hotel location is not bad if you are able to walk around 20 minutes to reach the nearest MRT station. Ximending district is similarly nearby. The hotel looks quite old and the facilities have aged quite a bit. However, the service provided is on point.

It was a pleasant stay. The view from the hotel is unarguably scenic. The hotel itself is a bit dated and could use a facelift but overall, it was still a nice place to stay. It is a bit of a walk away from bus stops, train stations, and the busy areas of Ximending. It is best to travel via Uber if you are staying in this hotel.

The attitude of employees is extremely boring (not supporting luggage for guests, the receptionist answers impolite). Old hotel, only 1-2 stars, is like a motel, not worth the money

It was a very good hotel with a complete complimentary. It was kinda far from the ximen station, about 12-15mins walk but they have a free shuttle service going there if you don’t want to walk. But overall 👍👍👍 for us!

We booked a standard triple single room. Overlooks the river tamsui. The sound from the highway is still heard. This hotel was built thn 1988.hotel is old. Standard rooms include old rooms. The hotel also has a new suite. River view suite. Looks really good. Modern and new. The room we lived in was clean enough. Though small. Enough to rest. The windows in the rooms are small and opaque. The scenery is not clear. But in the 12th floor restaurant where breakfast can see the view of the river tamsui very clearly. Nice. Breakfast not much choice. The kimchi is delicious. Xi men ding walk 10 minutes. Long shan temple 20 minutes. Averall hotel river view is quite nice. First of all, the location is very strategic. Its only 10 minutes walk to MRT station and located near Xi Men Ding night market. Of course beside the strategic location, the service is very good, especially with the friendly employee, the room is clean and neat, and also the food taste is quite good. Its a recommended hotel for anyone who wants to have a holiday at taipei!
