The hotel is beautiful and very well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel is very clean and friendly atmosphere. Parking lot was very easy to get to. Overall this hotel is a great stay with a good location a little outside of downtown. Very quiet and clean !

Excellent stay. I would have loved to stay longer. This Hotel is beautiful, impeccable, staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great and the view stunning. The only thing small detail I dis not know is that rooms don’t have A/C but that’s how property are built in Antigua. Quick solution, request a fan and you’ll be good. I would recommend it and look forward to stay again with my family.

A nice short walk from downtown. Big rooms but a bit stuffy with no draft. The shower drain I my particular room did not drain well, but overall a beautiful property and place to relax.

We loved our stay at Villa Colonial. The place feels like a beautiful hacienda, with gorgeous gardens and a lovely pool. The staff was very attentive, and the breakfast was delicious. From the hotel, you can see Volcán de Fuego, which was a very unique experience for us. The area is quiet since it’s not in the center of Antigua, but there are restaurants within walking distance that you can visit. The beds were also very comfortable. You can either walk about 20 minutes to town or take a 5-minute Uber ride. We highly recommend this place if you are staying in Antigua during your vacation.

Beautiful. No AC, No WiFi, Bugs

I felt safe and the room was clean and th property is lovely. Reception organized a car to airport for me and were very helpful. Breakfast was delish.

Had a five star one night stay. Great staff very clean room and overall amazing value. Would highly recommend a family and friends.

A really cool and unique place to stay. It’s a little further out of the main part of the city but that means it’s quieter. Staff are really great ! I would stay again.

Breakfast was delicious and excellent quality. Staff was extremely friendly and made personal accommodations without question. Parking is a little tight but staff member is at the gate to assist. Pool is clean. Beautiful property very well maintained with the historical feel that you want when visiting Antigua. Also what a great location. Bottom corner of the city. Short bus or Tuk ride to tourist destinations. Walk across the street to get local fair late at night. I will stay again.

Rooms were very dated. Especially the bathroom. There was no AC and it got very hot. Luckily they had a fan we could borrow. Would not stay here again.

Room was a reasonable size but a little dingy and poorly lit even though it was in the ground floor. WiFi is also very patchy

The wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t great. The common area is what made it nice. The room the beds were super hard, very stuffy NO AC or FAN. Bathroom had mold but it was more noticeable because of the moist of the room. Honestly we ended up leaving to another hotel.

Loved it! A bit off center, away from the noise. Lovely settings. Very kind staff.

Everything was good, very quiet

Was here for a few days waiting for my airbnb. Beautiful property. Restaraunt is decent but a bit pricy. For some reason my breakfast wasn’t included when everyone else’s was. Not sure why. Room was quiet. Only issue is the location. It’s a bit of a walk to el Centro. Not sure I would do it at night. Ubers and taxis are easy though. Recommend.

Very friendly staff and walkable to Antigua historic center!

Las almohadas necesitan un upgrade inmediato. Al igual que las toallas y el “jabón multi usos” de la regadera no es de calidad, quien sabe qué era, no estaba identificado. Habitación limpia y cómoda. Le falta ventilación, tuve que dejar las ventanas abiertas por qué había demasiado calor.
