The hotel is charming. The staff was gracious and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was lovely - fresh and delicious buffet with plenty of options. Don’t miss the store off the reception area with lots of local treats to take home.

The hotel staff were so so friendly and helpful recommending places to see and restaurants, etc. Our room was cleaned daily. We added on a buffet breakfast every morning which was well worth it. The owners Jean Michel and Catherine made us feel so welcome. The hotel itself was ideally positioned with beautiful views of the Chateau of Carcassonne. Will definitely return, loved it.

Breakfast was healthy. Fresh fruit, ham boiled eggs, natural juices, yogurts,variety of breads, cereal. Bathroom was modernized, shower was excellent, towels fluffy and thick. Staff was friendly, professional and helpful for site seeing information.

The hotel was a bit hard to find but once there the staff was super helpful to get us parked, checked in, and even hauled our bag up a flight of stairs for us. We did not do breakfast but other guests enjoyed it. The room was clean and functional. The terrace on the third floor provided a marvelous view of the fortress. Location was great.

The front desk hosts were very welcoming and helpful (they sent us clear parking and road closure information prior to our arrival). The location was very convenient—surrounded by a variety of restaurants and is a stone’s throw away from the medieval citadel.

Great stay here. The hotel is very well situated, a short walk to La Cite but surrounded by many bars and restaurants. The room itself was very comfortable. There are great views of La Cite from the terrace. Recommended!

Great location. Nice hotel with great view of the medieval city. Breakfast was good, nice variety of different food. Unfortunately the fruits were not great.

Great location, hotel room was small but perfect for our 2 night stay. Coffee in room was problematic, a Nescafe pod machine that didnt seem to like Nescafe pods, supply of 2 normal and 2 decaf was not adequate especially as asking for more would have incurred a cost

Hosts were amazing. They stayed late to let us in when our train was delayed. Great options for food nearby, amazing view of Carcassonne.

Wonderful location . Absolutely amazing view of the castle . Lovely little shop with great local items to buy(culinary). Super comfortable bed and room. Just be ready to climb a lot of stairs- there is no lift. We asked our host to order a taxi to the train station, but the taxi never came- and we had to catch a train- and our host drove us to the station. That was unbelievable. Just over the top. Highly recommend.

Third floor has a terrace with an unencumbered view of the castle.
