A comfortable and spacious room by Parisian standards. The hotel is very small without the facilities of larger establishments but the room was comfortably equipped, the bathroom spacious and the location excellent. The reception staff were polite and helpful. Older people with limited mobility might find it challenging climbing into the deep bath to use the shower.

Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The room and bathroom were clean. It's only a few steps to Le Bon Marche and la Grande Epicerie, and Miraculous Medal. Also a few steps to metra.

Clean rooms, helpful staff, great location

We stayed at Hotel Saint Germain in july 2025,and had a pleasant experience overall. The building itself is a bit dated and has a boutique feel with only 12 rooms, but our room was quite comfortable and cozy. The location is excellent – there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and it’s close to the metro as well as the Bon Marché supermarket, which was very convenient. Breakfast was continental, with a decent variety of pastries, breads, and coffee. Eggs could be cooked on request, which was a nice touch. The standout feature was the staff – everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really made a difference during our stay. Overall, a charming little hotel in a great location, perfect for travelers who appreciate a quieter, more personal atmosphere.

Pros the neighborhood is very good. Cons It's over a subway so it does rumble. The particular block it's on had a few homeless people. The room is weird: why have glass doors to the bathroom that require a curtain that causes another step to close? Who wants to have glass doors for the toilet so people in the room can see you?

The room is in good size, clean, quiet, very comfortable. The staff are quite nice and helpful. The shower doesn't have a curtain to full close so water can splash out.
