Room was well furnished with items that suited the building, bed comfort was a highlight. If im ever in Rockhampton again, ill knoe where to stay.

Very cool canopy comfortable beds. Rooms were nice place to eat across the street. Free parking. Train was loud, but to be expected

The room had a very musty smell that had deodoriser over it which made it very unpleasant. The room had a lot of road noise.

Yes the room was excellent it was a very old building needs some love thanks for the reduction in price from expedia

I love this place! The mattress is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The jetted tub? Perfection. The decor? Absolutely charming. Definitely will continue to stay. Quiet, clean, awesome!

Fabolous room, very old world luxurious feel. Huge room with hard wood furnishings, heavy blackout curtains and aircon. Large bath/shower, 4 poster bed. Would recommend if travelling through the area

Fabulous place, second time guests, communication regarding confirmation re key and staff on greeting was a real worry

Very good facilities.very beautiful hotel.But in spa bath jets are not working.

We arrived at 4pm and reception was closed - all staff had gone home. I didn’t check in online as arrival prior to 5pm stated that not to be a necessity. Very noisy area with heavy freight train running nearby. Rockhampton is not a town we’ll be returning to any time soon!

We left halfway through the night as the air-conditioning is temperature controlled and not low enough to effectively cool the room. It was sweltering and no fan. The bathroom floor is also dangerous as the water doesn't drain. The manager didn't care or offer a refund

Staff very obliging, I was able to get in earlier than the 2pm check in which was very helpful on such a hot day Aircon was great Couldn’t score breakfast, I had to be out by 6am
