Trains were loud but great value for money

Arrived after 2pm on a Sunday and check in was closed. Lock box available but didn’t have a code and no Aus phone so couldn’t call. Nice stranger staying there let me use his phone and got code that way. Room was very quirky and quite clean. Big room with old furniture and some dust which could easily have been removed. Bed very comfortable and shower had plenty of hot water and pressure

Friendly staff, very big rooms

Everything was more than we expected, plenty of parking off the street, aircon worked efficiently, water pressure great, bath towels were soft.

What a beautifully restored and loved building! It felt like I had taken a step back in time and I loved every minute

Trains going past can be annoying at the early hours

This is a heritage property with vey large high ceiling rooms. We had a king size 4 poster bed and spar in our room. We enjoyed having the extra space. The staff were friendly.

It was a great place to stay over night. Bed was super comfy and the spa bath was relaxing. It’s old school but great for a change and was clean. Will stay again.

Very noisy

Arrived late but mobile number organised check. . Aircon did not seem to work. A light outside the room would make inserting key into the lock a lot easier. Was a fine boutique hotel.
