Although we found the room quite small for a family of three it was still very comfortable. We liked that there were stores and restaurants nearby and our toddler was fascinated with the view from the window.

When it comes to Location, this hotel is a prize winner. It’s located bang next to the Turbus bus station; And a couple of minutes walk To the metro station. Cheap transportation sorted. Staff are lovely. The room however wasn’t all great: very tiny and oldish! But I stayed only a night.

We needed a place close to the bus depot and this was it. A nice hotel with good amenities. Clean and as quiet as it can be in the location that it is.

The facility is nice inside but the area around the hotel is really terrible. It took forever to get checked in and I tried calling many times with no one that ever answered. Service in Chile is horrible. Overpriced for the facilities.

Los desayunos

Stayed here overnight for a long layover. Check in process was easy. There is a restaurant and mini snack bar on site. Super close to bus station. 15 minute car ride to airport. Room and bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable.

This iBis hotel is recommendable for two reasons: (1) it is 24-hour staffed; and (2) it is centrally located near all transportation points including long-distance bus centers and a metro station (which gives you access to downtown Santiago with just one metro ride. As such, if you happen to fly in to Santiago as a staging area for your next trip to Valparaiso to board your cruise ship, you are at the right spot. Most importantly, the hotel takes good care of your luggage storage needs with a on-site security guard.

Very close to estacion central, so we thought that would be ideal but we were warned by everyone who knows Chile to avoid the area, especially at night but also by day, as it can be very unsafe. We cancelled but couldn't get any refund or voucher for another Ibis so we booked another hotel near Las Leones, accessible easily with Uber and much more suitable for a family with a little one. Nothing is worth risking our belongings and safety.

We couldn't make it due to delays with our flight from Cuba to Panama and from Panama to Santiago. I sent an email to the hotel informing them about it. The hotel staff never returned with a response or contacted me again. We made it at the end by 5.30 am on the next day. Door and shutters were closed and nobody to contact . Very disappointed as I still got charged full price for something I never used with my family. Definitely,I won't recommend or use for future staying in Santiago. Ariel Funes arielfunes73@gmail.com

This is not a safe area to stay in. You can watch people attempting to pickpocket and car jack from your hotel window. The staff are friendly, there is one front desk lady that does not care to be there nor does she want to be there.

Decent enough hotel to spend 2 nights before cruise to get over jet lag. Close to bus station and metro. Restaurant on premises which was handy.

A group of approx 20 arrived from airport at about 8:30 am and we told we had to wait for a 3 pm check in or pay for an early check in . With no amenities there and being in an unsafe area of town after 20 - 24 hours of travelling , needless to say we were very disappointed . Our room particularly was dirty . I washed all services down before unpacking . No instructions, no local advertising , no phone , no coffee , no fridge , no travel size toiletries , no microwave , no hand or face towels. The staff attempted to help with language differences (successfully) . Dinner options were very minimal , and only available at 7 pm. Coffee was never available unless we paid for . The worst part was the air quality . Many families complained of affects of using the A/C or heating as it instantly affected their breathing . Mold was apparent in our room . As an asthmatic , I found it very exhausting to breathe day in and day out . Now that I’m home , I have relief . The fire alarm regularly went off and we found this quite disturbing and alarming .
