I stayed here only one night before I left, for a better hotel experience. I would rate this hotel a 3 star. One big issue was the food. Even though my stay included meals, I was not impressed. Food served buffet style, always in the same restaurant, looked like college dorm food (gloppy). A high percentage of children, often unmanaged. Hotel is in need of severe renovation, in my opinion.

Overall rating is a 2. The front desk staff members, serves, and men that help take your bag's were very friendly and helpful. Other than that everyone else had horrible customer service skills. The food was not the greatest, I ate out every night I was there due to the food not being good, food running out, and the small portions given. The view is amazing! But everything else wasn’t the greatest. The bathroom continued to clogged weather we used the shower, sink, or toilet. The bar tenders did not have the greatest service, due to the heat the ice was melting that was used in drinks and made the drinks watery very fast. I would have to be honest I will not be staying here again.

The property was delightful! The staff was outstanding and they kept the areas very clean. Food was delicious. This hotel was a little dated yet comfy and very authentic and charming. It’s PV’s best kept secret. Rooftop views are stunning. We’d stay here again. La gente súper amable.

Bathtub lower tap not working. Need to climb up 3 stairs for room. Quality of evening and day entertainment poor. Rooms are not sound proof.

The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. This is my third time staying in Puerto Vallarta three years in a row and we always try a different resort when we go was not impressed with two roaches found in the bathroom on two different nights. We had the two bedroom suite with three bath also was not impressed with the food options. This place only has one pool which we didn’t care for with lots of families and kids running around. Wish there was more Food and pool options

The overall experience was fantastic. The food was wonderful, servers and waitresses were phenomenal. My only suggestion is having a bit of a pep talk with the night crew that works the front desk. They weren’t the most helpful and it almost appeared as though they didn’t want to be there. Aside from that, everything else was pretty awesome. I strongly recommend this resort, family friendly but very quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Great need better WiFi but everything felt homey

We had a great stay at this property. The staff were amazing and welcoming. We would stay here again. However, there could be a better process in place for people arriving early before check in time. Maybe the staff could suggest dropping off the luggage and some specific places to visit in the town before check in time. Other than that, everything was great. The food was also delicious!

This is one of the older properties which I love. It is on the beach with the historical cooling shape that allows the ocean breezes to drift though. There is a the grass roofed beach cabana for that authentic beach escape. The location is close to the airport and activities so it saves on taxi fees, as well as having easy access to the bus system. The room was clean, bed comfortable with daily maid service. Loved the towels here- nice and big! All of the staff were very kind and helpful. There is daily entertainment and they even had a pizza place. I really enjoyed the tile and marble with glass showers which were quite roomy. Not your glitzy, Vegas style place, just a genuine Puerto Vallarta taste of its amazing people and adventures.

Wonderful relaxing place with wonderful, hard working people. They charged me for four people in three rooms, however, instead of three people in three rooms. I was told I would not be charged for fourth person when I checked in, and the manager promised to rectify situation. Never happened. A hassle, don’t believe what they tell you, but otherwise a wonderful place.

The resort is fairly decent overall, with clean facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. However, the entertainment options are quite limited, so there isn’t much to do in the evenings or during downtime. The biggest downside was the food—both the quality and variety were disappointing. If dining and activities are a priority for your stay, you might want to consider other options.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel this past week. We chose it because it was cheaper than most all inclusive hotels around the area. But let me tell you, when they say you get what you pay for, this place is at the top of that line. We arrived and the personnel at the check in were dry, not very welcoming. Once we got to our room, we noticed how old and ill maintained the room was. We got a double bed room & it had a kitchen with just a sink a coffee machine and no fridge. The restrooms were small and the tub was very old and the paint on it was chipped. The water pressure was little to none & the lever was broken as well. We then noticed that we had no wifi in the room & when we tried to search for a connection, nothing popped up. So we went down to the reception area to ask why the wifi wouldn’t connect, they said they had spotty wifi and it we wouldn’t be able to get it in the rooms only in the lobby area or pool area. That’s insane! How is it that they can’t get full WiFi in a hotel that charges over a grand to stay there! So we asked for a room closer to the lobby & still no wifi! The food was low quality, the drinks were okay. The ambience was not fun at all! They had little to no entertainment. Then one day we noticed one of the maintenance staff took a chocolate bar I had left out before we left! That right there had me so mad! Never had I experienced that! If you’re looking to have a bad time this is your spot. But I would pay a little more next time.
