Only issue was lack of understanding english

The room was terrible. The mattress was not comfortable at all and the pillows were too thin. Also, the refrigerator was making a noise so annoying and loud that we placed it in the bathroom to close the door on it. The AC was also making a loud noise, we decided to turn it off to be able to sleep. There is no way we are coming back at that hotel. It is clear that they have rooms reserved for Expedia/hotel.com which are less quality than the others. This week end was a nightmare and we left the hotel with neck pain. I do not recommend at all!

I slept great even tho the hotel was full. And with a nice pool like this, when i say full, i mean full of kiddos! I wish they had express checkout instead of waiting in line at 10:58am.

La personne au desk était en formation il faut donc lui laisser sa chance et pour ça aucun problème mais elle était accompagné par une dame …. J’ai dû poser plein de question au sujet de l’hôtel puisque j’ai eu ma clé et bye…. Je voulais savoir les heures de la piscine, du resto, comment fonctionnait le spa, etc ….

Place was very clean. Stayed 2 different nights so had different rooms. First night the heater,cooling unit was really malfunctioning and kept blowing hot air even if you switched temp. Second stay the heating,cooling worked great. Overall i would still say its a great hotel.

Was spontaneously travelling with my dog. Stopped in rivière du loup randomly and was pleasantly surprised. They have a whole section of rooms for pets with patio access. So we were able to let the dog in and out of our room without having to trek through the hotel. First night we were in the old part of the hotel my only complaint was the toilet was wedged between a wall and the bath tub was a little tight on space. Second night we were in the new part and absolutely no complaints. Hotel was hosting a few groups both nights we were there. Was super cute to see a group of women playing games in one of the common areas and other groups engaged with activities around the hotel. Had a very community feel to it.

Great location to stay while driving from Ontario to East Coast, Have stayed here a few times but this time we discovered the great restaurant at the hotel. Looking forward to trying more of their menu during the next stay at Hotel Universel.

The hotel was nice, the only thing we didn’t like was that the waterslide can only be used with a lifeguard at the pool. We rented the night at the hotel because of the waterslide for the kids and didn’t get to use it!

Stayed here for an overnight stay while travelling to NS. Very comfortable beds and nice, clean room. Would definitely stay here again.
