Reflections Tower 2 is perfectly positioned in Coolangatta and the views are incredible. We stayed on level 12 and the outlook was genuinely spectacular — that is clearly what you are paying for, and in that respect, it delivered. Check-in was crap. Arrived late and told them 4 times and had to remind them to send me check in info. Unfortunately, the apartment itself did not reflect the premium price. It felt dated, the carpet was heavily soiled and everything is just old. The apartment was also not properly cleaned prior to our arrival, which was disappointing. The outdoor chairs were broken. Although they were replaced once we raised it, this is something that should have been picked up before guests arrive. We also walked into an extremely hot apartment, with the temperature reading 28°C. Simple touches like having the air conditioning on before check-in would greatly improve the first impression. The location and view are first-class, but the apartment needs investment. Even relatively minor upgrades, such as replacing the carpet, would make a significant difference. At present, the condition of the room does not align with the price being charged.

Reflections Tower 2 is in an excellent location in Coolangatta and the views are outstanding. We were on level 19 and the outlook was genuinely fantastic, that’s what you’re paying for, and we were happy to do so. We had very little interaction with staff apart from check-in, which was fine and hassle-free. Unfortunately, the apartment itself was very, very average for the price. It felt old, the carpet was filthy and there was a strong unpleasant smell when the room was closed up. Given how comparatively expensive the property is, this was disappointing. The location and view are premium, but the room needs some investment, even spending a couple of thousand dollars on new carpeting would make a huge difference. As it stands, the condition doesn’t match the price point.

Reflection Tower 2, Coolangatta – 10/10 Stay Everything about our stay at Reflection Tower 2 exceeded expectations. The room was perfect in every way — stunning ocean views, immaculate cleanliness, and an unbeatable location right in the heart of Coolangatta. The in-room facilities had absolutely everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and effortless. We stayed for over 7 days and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. From start to finish, it was a 10 out of 10 experience. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

Receptionist was unpleasant. Got told we had to supply our own dishing liquid laundry powder and toilet paper meanwhile we stayed there for a week ! The apartment bedding were uncomfortable The cleanliness of the appartement isn't high standard . Luckily I had some wipe and had to do some cleaning before putting out cloth in the closet and also fixing furniture . The swimming pool and the spa is in a wind corridor so very rarely we could use it Otherwise location is good . Kitchen appliances were good But sink tap was horrible splash water everywhere! Tip for anyone booking or returning: request a recently renovated, higher-floor, north-facing unit. Loved my stay at Reflections Tower II! The ocean views are spectacular, the location on Marine Parade is perfect, and the front-desk team was warm and welcoming. The apartment is spacious and mostly well-appointed, but a few maintenance issues held it back from being 5-star: 1. The large left gas burner on the cooktop didn’t work at all. 2. The markings on the Miele oven dials are completely worn off and unreadable, and the oven itself didn’t heat up (I had to abandon plans to roast lamb for a small dinner party). 3. Walls throughout are heavily scuffed and marked 4. Carpets look tired and heavily spotted in places – a deep clean or replacement is need. I totally get that investment properties involve ongoing costs, but these items (especially the oven/cooktop and the tired, spotted carpet) are deal-breakers for a premium property. Fix these and the place could/would be unbeatable. Still highly recommend! Update Nov 2025: Looking at many recent reviews, my experience with maintenance issues seems unfortunately common in some of the older units. Reviews often mention that the beachfront location and ocean views are world-class, the staff are fantastic (Maree especially – give that woman a pay rise!), but because the apartments are privately owned it’s renovation roulette. Get a recently updated one and guests come back for decades; get a tired one (non-working oven & burner, badly scuffed walls, heavily spotted carpet in my case) and the premium price stings. Tip for anyone booking or returning: definitely request a recently renovated, higher-floor, north-facing unit to massively improve your odds. Still absolutely love Coolangatta and I’m willing to give Reflections another go with that in mind!
