El hotel pequeño pero acogedor, céntrico, muy familiar, la atención de los propietarios es magnífica. El desayuno típico rico.. Se mantiene limpio, y el staff son muy amables.

It’s a simple hotel, humble and decent room (no fridge in the room). Very pleasant staff, nice view of the volcano. Parking is 100m away (the gate is locked, you have to unlock and park your car, but it’s very hard to pull the gate. Overall nice stay.

We kind of liked this place but they are not great with details. We left towels on the floor and they just hung them back up instead of washing them. The soap in the shower is so bad that I'm actually mentioning it in an online review lol. The room wasn't the cleanest, but not the worst either. And we liked the breakfast okay, but one day they randomly did not provide it even though we were promised that in the Expedia listing. Oh, and one night a group of people were extremely loud and when I tried to contact hotel staff for assitance, the phone number from google was disconnected, no one was at the front desk, and messaging the hotel on Expedia never got any response. So I'd say they are bad with communication. Luckily the loud group stopped before 11pm but it doesn't seem like the staff had any hand in that.

Room was clean. The highlight of the hotel is the second floor open area with a clear view of the Volcan Arenal. Our stay was very short, only one night, but it is one of the most centrally located accommodation in La Fortuna.

Staff very friendly. The common areas beautiful and modern. The rooms felt almost like a hostel- but with privacy. They were not super elegant by any means but they got the job done. There was noise at night from the street.

The staff at Las Colinas were wonderful. The hotel is located in town center of La Fortuna. I hardly used my vehicle while there. They provided laundry services, tour arrangement services and were available all night. There was a restaurant on the bottom floor that provided very good food. There was a variety store where you could purchase bottled water and alcohol, which you could take to your room or drink on the on the open air 2nd floor. There was a Supermacado around the corner for grocery purchases, if necessary. There were also many restaurants within walking distance nearby. If you have a rental vehicle they have a secured parking compound 200 metres down the street.

The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the location. It’s in a prime downtown spot, we were within walking distance to shops and restaurants, which was super convenient. It was also close to all the popular excursions, and Ubers were inexpensive (usually around $5–$10), which made getting around really easy. The breakfast each morning was convenient and a nice perk to have included. Was pretty good. That said, the hotel itself felt quite old and looked more dated than the pictures online. Unfortunately, we also had a very large cockroach in our apartment during our stay, which was definitely unpleasant. The receptionist wasn’t particularly warm or welcoming either. Overall, the property isn’t amazing aesthetically, but the price was reasonable for the location. If you’re prioritizing convenience and affordability over luxury, it could work, just manage expectations.

The view was phenomenal as the weather cooperated both days of our stay. The breakfast was traditional with some pancakes added for sweet balance. The rooms are older but it was clean and had everything we needed. For this price point, it was great value.

The hotel was ok. The location in La Fortuna was right downtown which was convenient to walk to various places. With a car rental they had a lot 2 blocks away that was in a secured fence except for the gate as it was the only area not protected by barbed wire. The beds were not comfortable at all.The appearance of them and the box sprnig was dated to over 25 years of age. There were not drawers to place your belongings. The outdoor patio amplified noise from the street. And a little think like asking for a hair dryer netted one that was old with broken prongs and it was very very low power. A new hair dryer in CR was about $15. If advertising they are there on request, they should get new ones. There is no hot water dispenser or coffee maker in the room, no chairs to sit in and the TV was mounted about 13 feet up the wall. the plugs were few - 3 total and one was behind the bed. While the facility states they are eco friendly, it came across more a 'cheap'. On a good note, the owner was nice and kind and the breakfast was good.
