A little dated but we enjoyed our time. Other reviews commented on noise. No problem for us. Only spent 1 night as Malaga was expensive.

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely staff, great location, amazing views, and a nice pool on the roof to cool off after a day in the sun - a perfect few days!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Elíseos in Málaga. The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk from the beach, the old town, and major sights like the Alcazaba and the Picasso Museum. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly (a must in Málaga!), and we appreciated the quiet atmosphere for a good night’s sleep. The view from our room, overlooking the bullring, was an unexpected bonus! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with directions, recommendations, or anything else we needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, Hotel Elíseos was a great value for the location, comfort, and service. We would definitely choose to stay here again next time we’re in Málaga and highly recommend it to other travelers looking for a well-located and welcoming hotel.

We didn't realise that it was so far from town. Set back from the road so had no view at all, apart from what looked like an old bullring. Very basic, but did have a balcony. Staff was helpful when asked about facilities. No tea or coffee facilities in your room, but when questioned, desk staff offered the use of a kettle and given some tea bags from kitchen. Twin beds were not very comfortable. Parking option was convenient, a good 15 mins walking into town.

A friendly hotel, which is of a sufficient standard with lovely staff. Breakfast was fine and the rooftop nice. Pretty central to Malaga old town …

This hotel is basic but has everything you need. It was clean, the staff were friendly on check in and the rooftop pool and sunbathing area is a lovely addition for a relax. I did have breakfast on one of the mornings and there is plenty of choice and it’s worth what you pay for. The location is great, close to the beach and easy to get to most things in Malaga. Unfortunately my room was very close to reception, so between that and a group of extremely noisy men who were shouting and knocking on doors at all hours, I did not have a restful sleep for 2 nights despite the bed being very comfy.

Clean and spacious room, close to the city with a bus stop right outside plus small pool on the rooftop. Room is very basic though, no tea/coffee or water and breakfast is additional charge (didn't purchase it so can't comment on that)

Staff was exceptional in finding a room for us in the blackout, because we had already checked out in preparation for a train ride to Madrid. Without power, they couldn't check their computers, but one of them remembered a vacant room that wasn't reserved for the coming days. We had to spend 2 extra days in Malaga until we could rebook travel to Madrid. Without the wonderful staff at the Eliseos, we would not have had a place to stay during the emergency. Gracias s todo!

I had never been to Malaga before and it turns out this hotel is very conveniently placed in the heart of Malaga. Everything is within ready walking distance - beach, piers, central area, castle and fort, cathedral, etc. The train station is a little longer walk, but walkable. There is a metro that can shorten the event, but I never tried it. Rooms are made up daily with clean bedding and toiletries. The hotel is older and not remade recently, so the elements (doors, floors, furniture) are dated and used, but very sufficient. Beds were quite comfortable. I would stay at this place again if available.

The staff were so friendly and the room was cleaned to a high standard every day. Underground parking was available at 15 euros per day. Also breakfast at 7 euros was fine. Nice location.

Perfect location on the edge of the old town overlooking the bullring. Just 5 minutes from restaurants and stalls on the waterfront and 15 minutes into the town centre. Room is basic, no kettle and only small sachets of shower gel. Very clean though and staff were very friendly. Fabulous breakfast for the price. Pool is only for dipping - not big enough to swim.
