Clean and spacious room

Couldn’t fault anything about it, staff was all fantastic, hotel was immaculate and amenities were great .

Fabulous welcome. Really nice sized room on ground floor. Pool. Plunge pool, sauna and steam room amazing. Really smart gym.

Unlike almost everything else at the Old Thorns, the breakfast was really sub standard. Tough leathery bacon, tinned mushrooms and (what tasted like) powdered scrambled eggs. I've had better breakfasts in a Travel Lodge! Also, if it was not included, they charged nearly £17 each for it! Such a shame. The wedding catering we attended was very good by comparison.

The room was spacious and clean, the receptionist, Sophie was friendly and amazingly helpful and the stay was lovely.
