We had a triple room, very comfortable bed and nice room but sofa bed very hard. Great pub and food.

Very nice room. Lovely bar area and brilliant service by staff

The evening meal was quite good, although service in the restaurant and bar was glum. The kettle in the room didn't work, I left a note to tell them but haven't heard from them.

After a long day walking arriving here was a pleasure. The staff were welcoming and although the kitchen was about to close they held off closing and served me.The room was just what was needed. Clean, and quite, and a comfortable bed. In the morning there was a very generous continental breakfast that kept me going for quite a long stretch of that day's walking without need to refuel! I would most certainly recommend this place and would definitely stay again if I was passing through.

Arrived late to a nice welcome from the girls behind the bar. Shown to my room and after unpacking I went back to the bar and had a few drinks and a bite to eat. Will definitely recommend

A lovely thatched property on the edge of a delightful village. Friendly staff and good food.

Room was spacious, bed was comfy. Great value for money. The breakfast was delicious too!

Great people, old building so creaky stairs 🙄 lovely sized room, bathroom could do with a little tlc, but perfectly adequate. The food was delicious 😋

Noone was there to give me the key so i had to go away and come back when the pub was open.

It was a lovely local village pub. It was a great room and size we stayed in and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Was ideal for our trip to Newmarket races to watch Richard Ashcroft. Overall excellent value for money

What a fantastic find this place was! We had such a lovely stay and the breakfast was just perfection (compliments to the chef 💗). The only tiny thing we could find, at a real push, to improve on was just that the toilet in our room was a little wobbly. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone

Disappointed to discover that food wasn’t being served as this had been one of the factors for choosing the White Horse. No help from the staff to find somewhere to eat. The room was tired and shabby as was the bathroom. General maintenance was poor and the standard of housekeeping could have been better. Continental Breakfast was basic with no attention. They seemed more interest in perusing the bill for breakfast than any service. Certainly wouldn’t recommend the White Horse or return on a future occasion.

Great country pub with good restaurant. Very quaint bar just the job for a nightcap before bed. Rooms are a goood size with all amenities. Would stay here again
