bed hard like rock , cheap but damn

The hostel was really dirty and smells really bad. The sheets were old and smelly and had holes in them. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The there was no bath towel provided. The “towel” provided was a hand towel and there was only 3 hand towels given to us when we had 4 in our party. The shared bathroom was very dirty and old. On our first night, a drink young girl climb into our top bunk bed while one of our team went to the bathroom. Her boyfriend came to get her after she made a lot of noise in trying to chase us out of the room. The door lock was not secure and made the place unsafe. We checked out with only one night stay. The hostel did not refund our money for the 5 remaining nights. This hotel is really crappy and not livable.

Staff were friendly, but the pictures are very misleading. Blanket was scratchy, window made some banging noise I had to fix, wifi didn't work in the room. Generally pretty unpleasant place to spend the night.

For this price, it's very natural, yeah. Even the price is far between the prices of other hostels. I, who only have to sleep for 4-6 hours, is no problem. But for those of you who will be in this hotel for a long time, think again. The room smells musty, it's not taken care of. I have tried a lot of hostels in Seoul, this is the worst, but also the cheapest price I pay 110,000 at that time if you want to add 60,000 more you can get better too. Oia, the location is also less strategic.

We checked in too late at around 11 due to landing at the airport at 10 o'clock. At first the officers said I only ordered 1 room, even though it was clear in the onlie application there were 2 rooms booked. The clerk forced to order one more room, but I insisted on not wanting to pay and was ready to email online parties asking about this mess. Not long ago the officer apologized and said there was a mistake, finally we were given a private room. 1 room 2 beds for 6 days. At first we ordered the female mix. Thank God the rooms are upgraded without paying anymore.

This hostel is good value for money! Near Hhongik university station exit 2, there are 2 convenience store nearby like only around 100m. When you ho inside the hostel, go down to the lobby which also serves as dining room. When you I was checked in, the receptionits asked whether I need towel or not. I was on single room 403 and there was total 5 floor. The room is small as expected from the cheap price, but surprisingly there was ac in my room! On 4th floor, there is 1 toilet combined with shower for man, 1 toilet combined with shower for woman and 1 toilet for both, so there is total 3 toilet. Well, overall I am satisfied with this hostel!

The position of the hostel is 15-20 minutes walk to Hong Kong Station. My room is on the 4th floor, without an elevator, so I have to go up and down stairs, there is no locker key so I have to buy it myself. the staff stand by. There is no warm mattress in the winter.

The distance is rather decent from the station not according to the estimate, Get a room also on the 4th floor so if staying here get ready to lift the suitcase because there is no elevator and the staff also does not help to lift up.

The rooms are clean, especially the bathrooms, clean, spacious, losing to 3 star hotels. The price is also very cheap, close to Hongik University exit 9

Everyone in Kimchee is very welcoming especially the Korean guy receptionist. He's the coolest! It's a good place for backpackers and with great value. Will definitely book again soon!

I had a hard time looking for the exact location of the guesthouse. Also, I availed a single room but some travelers are very noisy and I can still hear it even after 11PM.

It's near the station and very easy to access the transportation.

Great hostel for backpacker.

A not really good, rules sometimes not that strict, lots of disturbing at night.

I was so comfortable stay at Kimchee hongdae, I hope sometime, I will be back in there,In fact this is my second time I stay in Kimchee hongdae.

Toilet is too dirty and uncomfortable

Accommodations should not go too far to walk from the subway. If this winter walk until tea narrow walls some very next room upstairs talked heard all night was not booked three nights sleep (bunkhouse) to return one day have to keep moving to the Bed. another Wasted money left to do I did not really sleep But Stauffer little girl is ok.
