Loved my stay here. From the old key to the location of trains… a good experience

The room was beautiful - large, comfortable, and full of light.

Impeccably clean with a nice lobby & kind, professional staff. I left too early to try breakfast, which begins at 7am, though I was delighted to find a filtered still and sparkling water dispenser for filling water bottles on each floor. I had a single room with a queen sized bed, and it was roomy with a nice small balcony looking onto an interior courtyard. The room itself is charming, and very clean. The shower, while spotless, is a little coffin-like; I'm a small woman and I had to hold my elbows close. If you're larger, I suggest you reconsider, but if shower size is not an issue its perfectly fine. Mattress was a little worn out-- I could feel the divot where it has compressed over the years-- but comfortable enough. I stayed here because I was taking a 6am train out of Milano Centrale and wanted to be close. It is literally across the street, and could not be more ideally located for the station. Everything felt very safe, and easy walking to the rest of the city. All in all, I recommend!

There was loud banging everyday due to “building works” which I called to verify with reception and the answer I received was that they’re “allowed” to start as early as 8am even though they started even earlier. The breakfast was terrible. So limited. The scrambled eggs always finished each morning and they didn’t replenish. Twice I cracked open a boiled egg they were RAW.

We asked for a quiet room on arrival. What we did not realise until the last day was that the the hotel only owns half of floor 5 - the remainder is public flats of a very poor standard. We had been placed in room 429 which we did not know was underneath a flat with a very noisy family living there. We had assumed during our stay that this was due to residents of the hotel being inconsiderate as is sometimes the case. The hotel should never have put us in this room and I believe the hotel should make amends for this oversight as it ruined our holiday. The rooms are poor and the hotel is in urgent need of some TLC.

Excellent, central

The staff were efficient but not particularly welcoming at any time during our stay. The room was wonderfully clean but lacked any kind of atmosphere, just sparse. There was no coffee/tea making equipment even though it said on the Expedia web site there was a kitchenette. The bathroom was the same with no tissues etc. There were one two very flimsy plastic tumblers to drink out of. One broke getting it out of the package. The mini bar was empty but the breakfast was very good in spite of a very noisy coffee machine.

A pleasant and comfortable hotel with a good choice at breakfast. Our room was directly above a tram track. We were disturbed by the sound of the trams in the early morning.

Nice hotel very central to the city. The room and the rest of the property is in impeccable condition. You can’t go wrong by staying here.

Great breakfast, great staff. Very convenient location for shopping, museums, dining and the train station just steps away. Our room was a little shabby but clean and comfortable and overlooked a green space. Airport bus pickup location was steps away. I’m staying here again at the end of the month.
