Great location. Nice hotel in friendly little town.

Too many emails received before and after the stay from the airport to book direct. The room was good, clean and well equipped. I regret the look time it took for the staff to take my order during the diner and at the breakfast. One remark, could be good to have air conditioning.

Excellent place to stay lovely food great service

We always choose this hotel when we’re in the area. It’s clean, good value for money, with plenty of parking, comfortable beds, good coffee machines in the room and the option to eat in the hotel restaurant or in one of the nearby eateries. Be prepared for poor mobile reception - it’s quite nice to be off grid for a while.

Location, Location Location!

We’ve stayed at this lovely hotel before. Set in the centre of beautiful Woburn, it is close to all amenities and has a large car park. The rooms are large and clean and the beds are comfortable. The toiletries smell lovely and the coffee machine is a bonus. We had everything we needed in our quiet room and the tv was an appropriate size (I.e. not so small that a telescope is required to see it from the bed). The seating area and table are great for work, although there is very limited telephone reception. This time didn’t eat dinner in the hotel (we chose to eat at the excellent Rai Indian Restaurant over the road), but we did stay for breakfast. The choice was excellent and although we boringly went for full English, we weren’t disappointed in the well-cooked quality ingredients.

The room was full of clothes moths. We reported this to the staff who didn’t seem to be interested. The carpets, particularly in the communal areas were dirty and worn.

Great quiet clean room. Everything was great. Staff was very nice even though they were so busy. The surroundings were great. Walking was very fun. Great parking. Food was great for dinner and for breakfast. Breakfast was very good with small buffet and to order

Woburn is gorgeous. If you want to get away from internet and phone connections: this is the place. The hotel is right in the heart of the village with plenty of free car parking spaces. It’s beautiful. We arrived on a bank holiday and it was very busy. With no internet, we couldn’t use remote check in, but we didn’t have to wait long. Our room was large, bright and clean and the bed was really comfortable. We appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine. The restaurant was ok (lovely staff and surroundings but with food choices better on our first night than on the second where most items were not available). We’ve had many better meals in that price range.

We recently stayed at The Woburn Hotel (Luxury Cottage) and unfortunately it did not meet expectations. The staff, bar and food were all very good. However, the issue was with the accommodation itself. When booking, the photos on Expedia gave the impression that the cottages had similar features, particularly the room with the freestanding bath at the end of the bed. It is not made clear that there are multiple different cottages with completely different layouts, so we reasonably believed the photos were of the same cottage. The room we received was very different from what the images suggest. The overall condition of the cottage was also disappointing. It felt quite outdated, slightly dingy, and not particularly clean or well maintained — not what we expected from a “Luxury Cottage”. The bathroom was the worst part, with visible rust, limescale, mould, dirt and marks on the bath. It did not feel clean or well looked after. We raised this at checkout and also through Expedia. Expedia have been helpful, but the hotel has ignored all communication from both us and Expedia, which is very disappointing. We are simply seeking a partial refund and acknowledgement, but due to the lack of response, we would not recommend based on this experience.

Superb food but very tired bathrooms with dirty looking tiled floors, tap water is labeled bizarrely as not drinkable and also hot water in some rooms does not get hot enough for a bath.
