This is a hard review to write - because I want to get the balance right here. The hotel itself is stunning. The people super friendly. The rooms immaculate and clean. HOWEVER…for over 24 hours of our stay we had incredibly loud generator going outside of our bedroom. No sleep at all at night - and during the day we couldn’t use the balcony that we paid extra for. The management didn’t seem at all interested in making any consolidatory gestures…just hard lined it - not our fault. My suggestion would be that anyone being allocated to our room are warned and made aware that if there is a need for the generator to kick in it will be like they are inside the engine of a jumbo jet plane - and sleep will be impossible! Such a pity as it really impacted what would have been one of our best stays whilst touring Brazil.

Great place to stay with family. Wonderful breakfast. Good location near to restaurants, gas station, pharmacy and supermarket.

Great hotel, extremely clean and easy to park a car. $30 reais cab ride to historic district. Check in/out was easy and the room was good enough for 2 people. They have no phone in the room but it didn't seem to be a problem. Internet worked well. Pool was great along with the bar. Reception area is also very spacious making it comfortable to gather the group. Wait until you see their breakfast spread. I hugged the lady who prepares it, she definitely loves what she does. Breakfast was superb. We will be back. Thank you!!!

The hotel was wonderful! Not sure if daily house keeping was standard but they didn't come to our room once to empty the bin, change our towels or change the bed. After the third day, the room was a bit dirty. The walk to town is fine if it is sunny, but we had rain the whole time and the road/path is not nice to walk on when wet. If raining make sure you have proper shoes and an umbrella. Overall though, the hotel was fantastic!

Estrutura da pousada é boa, café da manhã excelente e o atendimento dos funcionários nos chamou a atenção, todos muito solícitos e cordiais, sempre dispostos a ajudar. Ponto a melhorar é a internet, meu marido teve que trabalhar alguns dias e sofreu com a internet que é muito instável. Até para assistir canal fechado na TV (Telecine) é difícil.

Por ser uma pousada, podemos dizer que é excelente. As áreas comuns são muito boas. Excelente piscina, infraestrutura de bar e restaurante disponíveis o tempo todo aos hóspedes. A localização é excelente para quem não quer ficar no centro histórico (caótico e lotado). O ponto alto é o treinamento dos funcionários, todos são simplesmente excelentes, precocupados e disponíveis o tempo todo. Ficamos nos quartos superiores com varanda virada para a rua. únicos defeitos: quarto é muiito pequeno (cabe uma mala grande e só) e o chuveiro é elétrico e portanto de baixa vazão (sugiro duchas com aquecimento solar). Como se trata de uma pousada, parece comum ter esses problemas, que estariam resolvidos num hotel. Mesmo sendo pousada, as outras facilidades (restaurante, piscina, atendimento) são dignas dos melhores hoteis.

A minha estadia na pousada eclipe foi incrível. A pousada é linda e super confortável, a limpeza impecável, o café da manhã delicioso e repleto de opções pra todos os gostos e o atendimento também foi ótimo. Super recomendo!
