What a fantastic four days! Nestled on a mile-long private beach on Sicily's picturesque southwest coast. A resort that offers a variety of sports and activities, including golf, tennis, and cycling, to mention a few. The hotel boasts a top-notch wellness centre that is nestled among olive gardens, oranges, and lemon trees. The staff was courteous, attentive, and professional. The rooms were sleek and stylish, mirroring the hotel's ambiance. The quality and variety of the food were outstanding. The food is a celebration of Sicilian culinary traditions, rich in flavour and produced with fresh local ingredients. The property was postcard-perfect, with stunning sunsets. I look forward to returning soon!

Verdura Hotel Resort is an outstanding place to stay. We stayed for 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer. The positive aspects were the friendly staff, a huge pool and a good private beach. We loved the gym, it was equipped with spin bikes, fitness machines and weights. The spa pools with their different temperatures were very enjoyable and one of them had powerful water jets. Being a golf facility the gardens and grounds are very well kept - neither my husband nor I play golf but we had liked the look of the huge area and the sense of space and privacy that the location seemed to offer. The reality did not disappoint, it is a breath-takingly beautiful position and well maintained. There are bicycles available to use, these are provided complimentary by the resort and we used them daily. We tried a few of the restaurants on site, all were good and service was excellent. However, one negative was the arrangement at breakfast time, it is a small area where the food is presented buffet-style and people were bumping into each other along a narrow space. My omelette was raw in the middle and another diner was also complaining about this, the egg chef did seem to be extremely busy trying to deal with so many orders, perhaps a second chef to help him, perhaps a second stove is needed. Many dishes on the buffet tables were empty and replenishments did not seem to happen efficiently. Lastly, the bedroom wardrobe area is very dark we were forced to use our phone torches!

This is a huge beautiful property. It is not near any cities or sites but if you want to relax and play golf it is very nice. The spa and restaurants are very good. We like the golf club house restaurant the best. Our room had some issues and was a bit dated.

Oh my. What a delight!! I took a fall in Palermo (on my face) so we wanted someplace peaceful to relax and heal for a few days. This was it!! Our room was amazing. The spa was phenomenal!! All restaurants and food were top notch. Loved the bikes everywhere. 2 golf courses. Pool. Beach. This was a splurge for us, but truly spectacular in every way.

Verdura resort is a wonderful place ! Location is awesome , the SPA is phenomenal including all the treatments , tennis center is fantastic ! Marco at the tennis center is wonderful !! The only mark against the experience is the average quality of the food served which should be improved to garner the 5th star . Other than that is a must stay ❤️

This property is beautiful and a luxury resort. However, it is a little remote and sight seeing is limited. But if going to relax in luxury- this is the place!

Verdura is the kind of resort where the options for the day are endless - whether that be languid days by the beach or the pool, or an active day of golf, tennis, or even Padel! The rooms are amply sized and the Irene Forte toiletries are divine, and the twice daily turn down service keeps everything pristine. We also loved travelling everywhere on site with the free bicycles that were scattered across the property. We went here for our honeymoon as a conduit to this region of Sicily and it is every bit as heavenly as you might imagine with bucolic rolling hills against the backdrop of the ocean. Splendid. My only criticism is that so many activities are chargeable! I have stayed in many hotels and most don’t charge for tennis/Padel courts and non-motorised water activities (eg SUP, kayaking). If you decide to pursue these activities, it is well worth having a coach lesson (Tom for golf and Leo for Padel were fantastic). The food is excellent but also expensive so I recommend having the occasional dinner at one of the many excellent trattorias in the Sciacca city centre. Overall, a lovely stay!

This is an excellent resort. My only gripe is that they need to get with the times and put a good coffee maker in the room (a good cup of coffee is a must upon waking up and having to wait until going to breakfast is no fun) and install TVs that allow Netflix and Prime Video streaming. The resort TV offers tons of channels, but in English only news or sports.
