This property is really old, it looks abandoned my kids were terrified when they go in. The area was poor of everything, there was nothing to do over there. We check out and left the same day.

It is an old property and needs an update. it was built in the 1600s. however, it seems like the intent was to create an "old time Spain" effect. It's not completed, still has construction for the courtyard. The manager was helpful, very kind, and always responded to our requests. The cafe offered a nice breakfast and was nicely presented. The room was clean, but offered no amenities like soap, shampoo, paper towels or coffee, water in the kitchen. The wi-fi and air conditioner worked well, but the climate control in the bedroom didn't work, needed a battery change. The television was ok, small. The locks on the outside and bedroom doors worked well, but were tempermental. The elevator was small and old. We both couldn't fit our luggage and us comfortably. It needs updated. I would use it again for the price, but it was amd will continue to be a second choice for me without the changes I've mentioned.

The apartment was within walking distance of the city center. The area was very clean and safe. Good restaurants, and the locals were very friendly and helpful. Great value for the nominal fee. Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you to the Maria, Concha, and our friend the barkeep at Apartamentos Larga 70. The reason for our visit to Spain was a promotion ceremony for my son who is deployed at Rota, Spain. Puerta de Santa Maria is about 20 minutes from the base, and was the most charming city you can imagine. The hotel is basic, clean, comfortable, and the apartments are large. The beds are very firm and very comfortable. The shower is terrific, and there was plenty of hot water. We did not use the kitchen, but it seemed reasonably well stocked. The building is very old, and the walls must be thick, as I never heard any outside noises. The cool and comfortable lobby was a meeting place for us before beginning our day and between stops. With free wi-fi and a bar with an adjoining door, it was a great place to unwind for a few minutes during the day. Prices for this hotel are very reasonable. All in all, I'd say that other than the promotion ceremony, Apartamentos Larga 70 and Puerta de Santa Maria were at the top of our trip highlights!

We only stayed for one night and loved it so much that we wanted to adjust our trip to stay there an extra night. The apt was the largest we've had our entire European trip and the price was great! The view was amazing from our top level floor stay and the buildings architecture was beautiful.

We stayed in this charming hotel while visiting our son, stationed on Rota Naval Base. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to help us with suggestions for dining, beaches, shopping and local shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Spain and hope to return again someday.

Overall good place. Has everything you'd need but you have to request it. Example: Washer/Dryer and Hair Dryer. Older building and rooms but location in Historic part of city and great restaurants all around. Parking nearby 4 Euros for 24 hours and could usually find nearby on street with no time limit. Near fine beaches by car. People and food in this small city superb.

It was a wonderful time, We were very close to the nightlife downtown, the staff was very friendly and the hotel room was wonderful.

Vintage Spanish accommodation in El Peurto dowtown with walking access to bars, restaurants, Plaza del Torro and many other sites in this historic Sherry Port where the world's finest fortified Spanish wines have been shipped for centuries. Even the ferry to Cadiz is only 5 minutes away and makes for a great day out. Plenty of beaches in all directions and not too far for those, young and old, who need to shop Larga 70, provide apartments for those who choose to come and go as they please, a mixture of fine old architecutre grand staircases mixed with art and modern interior. Wifi was intermittent and the volume needs turning up if you are desperate for a Tweet. Lovely place run by lovely people.
