A hotel that doesn't reflect Japanese omotenashi. There are a lot of rules, and they're not very comfortable. The transportation service to the station is open until 2:00 PM, and there's no notification at check-in. Asking the receptionist for help booking a taxi seems like a no-brainer. When the taxi arrives, the driver doesn't seem to need customers and makes small talk with other drivers. Even though I'm fluent in Japanese, they don't want to communicate further. Maybe it's because the Fuji area is overtouristed? Possibly. The room is also very cramped, making it difficult to open a suitcase! There are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby that are open late, it's like living in a forest. It's impractical, uncomfortable, and not recommended for foreigners with families.

The hotel is in a great location, overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. There are baby supplies including small towels and toothbrushes, and small slippers, which I really like. The breakfast at the hotel is quite good with many choices, including drinks. Next to the hotel is a restaurant with typical Japanese dishes such as fish rice, tempura... reasonable prices and quality. Another great thing is that the hotel has a free bus to Kawaguchiko station, convenient for catching buses to surrounding places. What I don't like is that the bed is a bit small.

Recommended to book the mountain view room. Their male public bath got a bad smell and the hot water supply is not stable, but breakfast was great.

The bedrooms are spacious and clean. Except drinking water is not available. Great location overlooking the mountains and the lake. From a beautiful bedroom

Nice Hotel with Onsen, little bit far from Kawaguchi station if you walk. But the hotel have car hub to Kawaguchi station with reservation before. The view to mount Fuji from the hotel is so wonderful.

Hotel service is good. There is a transfer service from Kawaguchiko train station at 3pm and 10 am from hotel to Kawaguchiko train station. The hotel staff is not good in English but helpful. Hotel staff is very responsive via email. The room is too small for 2 big luggages. The only bad points are 1) air-condition is too loud 2) Room information in website is too less. I expected to get a room with view of lake and Mt. Fuji, but it didn't because of lack of room information! I am disappointed. But overall, I still recommended to stay at Hotel Route-Inn Kawaguchiko.

Advantages 1. Onsen for free. 2. Back to the car to go to Kagoshiko station. But please notify the receptionist on arrival at the time of booking. 3. Good breakfast. Sit down to see the Fujian. 4. Location easy to find. The bus stop 13. Disadvantages 1. Breakfast too short time 7.00-9.00 am 2. The room booked is a room with no view of Fujiwara. Stupid and dense

This hotel is located just next to lake kawaguchiko near azagawa onsen bus stop. It's also near to kachi ropeway. While booking for this hotel, don’t forget to choose room with the view of mount fuji across lake kawaguchiko. The morning view from the window is terrific. If you're not on budget, you might want to consider staying at kukuru, since it is located at the best place on the road. I’d recommend you to stay more than 1 day to enjoy both the hotel and the area to your fullest. There are also small onsen available on the top floor. The minus of this hotel is this hotel is located pretty far from kawaguchiko station. The last bus to the hotel was around 5pm so if you want stay out late you might want to take taxi from kawaguchiko station. After the dusk, people rarely going out of their house and the road become dark since there aren’t enough light for the road, so be wise if you’re not traveling on group. There isn’t any convenience mart near the hotel so prepare yourself for late night snack if you want, though there are several vending machines inside the hotel. The room was rather small but you’ve got everything you need inside. Staff’s service & meal were just okay.
