Great resort, beautiful location ….. everything was great except for very very uncomfortable mattresses.

Great staff very attentive and friendly. Staff was very knowledgeable about there job . Very spacious accommodations and great value. Beach was a 2 min walk.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Food was excellent. Good location near the water. Our 2 bed apartment was huge!!! Stairs were a little dangerous.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The property is well-maintained, clean, and inviting. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

We love this resort. Apartments are spacious are gorgeously decorated. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Only thing we did not like was the checkout at 10am which we consider was too early.

Hotel restaurant food was low quality, only half the spa jets worked. The male bar staff were awesome bartenders.

We had a great stay at Belmar. We stayed in an apartment style unit including a laundry machine which was incredibly useful as part of our 2nd leg of our Portugal trip. Overall it was very spacious. Facilities and amenities at the resort like the pool, gym, and spa were very good. It was also extremely close to the beach and to a really fresh seafood restaurant. Finally the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had including a variety of fresh fruit! I left one star off for the following reasons. 1)In unit air conditioning is quite old and had a bit of a musty smell in one of them. 2) really not picking here, but the bed in one of my units was extremely hard and the pillows were very worn out and could use some replacement. 3) TV has a lot of channels but the actual tv is quite old and doesn't have modern features. This one is just nit picking because we are obviously not picking a hotel based on their TV. I am so glad I picked this resort as it was truly so relaxing to stay here and it has more than I expected. It was also close to old town Lagos via driving.

Wonderful place, beach nearby. It have all you need inside the apartments a beach nearby an indoor heated pools and sauna. My family and i had a great time

Belmar is NOT a true 4-star hotel. It's more of a chalet or rental apartment near the beach, with no hotel-level service- no towel changes, cleaning, or luggage assistance. Pillows are uncomfortable, furniture is basic. Be aware the advertised main hotel is misleading-there are two other compounds with no sea view or any design. False advertising at its best. The only positive is the peaceful location and proximity to a beautiful beach. Book if you want an apartment, otherwise avoid the disappointment and look for a real 4-star. Great vacation spot

I really enjoyed my stay at the property. Short walk to the beach, beach restaurants and beautiful cliff side hike/walking trail. Quick Uber ride to the town center and marina. On site restaurant was excellent.

Fabulous hotel! Great amenities! Loved the pool area and proximity to a gorgeous beach! Excellent restaurant! We were very happy with our stay at Belmar and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Lagos.

Well maintained property, comfortable accommodations. Would have preferred a ceiling shower as opposed to a hand held. Otherwise water pressure was good. Nice sit out area. We stayed in a studio apartment.

The resort was pretty good. The food was excellent. The reception staff was why I lowered to a 4. They were surly.
