first time staying at Toyo, when I entered it was very homey, clean, full of art and warm, the room was just right, not too small for a backpacker hotel in Osaka. will come here again next time.

Hotel is easy to reach. Strategic location, both bus lines, subway lines, regular trains and airport fast trains. There are many minimarkets available around. Then, the staff is quite friendly and kind. The facilities for a backpacker hostel are complete, comfortable and safe. Recommended for backpackers here.

Clean, not expensive, not far from the subway station. Towels must be prepared on their own (for rent 100 yen)

Fun, the right hotel for backpacker group friends or Solo. Friendly service, guests from various countries. Even though it's quite far from the main station osaka station, this hotel is very close to St. Shin Imamiya or St. Dobutsuen mae. So it's no problem 😁👍

nice hostel, good location, friendly staffs. you can deposit your luggage on the check-out day without any charge. Though the building is quite old but it is clean enough. No bad smell, no cockroaches and no mice. Next time, if I have a chance to visit osaka, I will book here.

Receptionist were very accommodating. The room, comfort room, shower room are all clean and very affordable price.

A very good place to stay for solo-traveler or backpacker. Its not far from JR Station that can take you strolling around Osaka. The room very nice, and the staff are very helpfull. I love the ambience, full of fancy art.

The staff were kind and really helpful, the room were clean and there were TV in it, clean toilet & shower, there's also baggage room, and what I like the most is the location. I could walk to Tsutenkaku & Shinsekai. 10 min walk to Shin-imamiya station for JR and 5 min walk to Doubutsuen-mae station for local trains. It's also close to Don Quijote, Daiso, and Spa World. There are 3 Familymart that can be reached by walking too. I stayed there in winter, room heater worked well but the hot water for shower didn't work sometimes. I can say that the area is safe for female at night, I could walk safely from station to hotel around 10 pm (there were still many people around). Really worth the price with all those facilities. Want to stay here when I go to Osaka again.

Located near the MRT station, convenient transportation. But it's a bit old and narrow.

The room looked exactly like the pictures which is great. The bathroom's so clean and there's so many of them. The ambience was great, especially in the living room. And the location is great, its neat station and shop canter. Its such a really great experience.

The service is good! Bedroom, toilets, shared bathrooms, common room, living room all good. Especially on bedroom, you have a-not-so little space, it’s more than enough for a solo traveler like me. Plus, they have a small tv inside the room! For JR Pass user, the hotel is right by Shin-Imamiya station and around you can see Family Mart, Lawson, and Mega Don Quijote.

The hotel is close to the station and family mart. Access to the hotel is also very young. The guards are very kind and very helpful, fluent in English. The bedroom and bathroom are also clean, thanks Hotel Toyo.

Small but cozy, I love the fact that I can get a private room for that price. Thank you!

The hotel is not deep in the alley, so it is clean, convenient, staff speak good English, few bathrooms and enough shower room. Whenever possible, take a bath The room is spacious enough for one person to sleep alone. *** Disadvantages: The sound of walking is very loud.

Great stay at Hotel Toyo. It offers privacy to travellers but at the same time opportunities to interact with other travellers. However, rooms are not soundproof so expect to hear your neighbour.
