The hotel is beautiful, room was so pristine, well thought out and super comfortable. Every single member of staff was polite, friendly and professional. Breakfast was everything you could hope for too. AMAZING!

The hotel is just awesome. The member of staff during check-in was great and but then the only interaction with staff we had during breakfast. And they were truly fantastic. The majority appear to be uni students as they all seem that age. Every single one of them was very helpful, professional but super friendly. The food was gorgeous, prepared quickly and served beautifully. The bar was great and all sitting areas were beautifully decorated. The bedroom was spacious and super clean with the bathroom having a benefit of a large bath and underfloor heating. The only issue for me was the bed. Two single mattresses put together to make a large king size bed is never a comfortable solution and this one was not either. I struggled both nights and I must say I didn't have the best sleep unfortunately. Everything else was superb so thank you.

Beautiful hotel even looking through storm Claudia! The food was first class in the restaurant with some of the best chicken I've tasted. The room was lovely and little touches like light coming on when you opened the cupboard & a night light in the bathroom added to the stay. Bed was soft and comfortable. Very pleasant stay with lovely staff and if we ever go up that was again, definitely high on our list to stay: just hope the weather is better :-)

The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great.

Food excellent. Room excellent. Forgot to put fridge in my room. But I wasn’t too fused. Staff delightful. I’m 72 love the ground floor, it’s easily negotiated. 51 years ago had my 21st here and 8 years after got married here. Going to book for my 75th in three years. We used to come to the Discos on a Thursday night.

Lovely staff, beautiful grounds, spacious room to a fairly high standard. Dog friendly: in the bar area only, but that is just as nice as the main restaurant.
