We loved everything about this hotel. It looks gorgeous, everything you need is available. Everything works, it's clean, the bathsupplies are very nice. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

The hotel was nice, the room was nice.. it was a little bit like you were time traveling. The only thing that could be slightly better was the breakfast. Otherwise I would definitely recommend it.

Such a cool looking hotel. Wanted to just chill in the lounge and have a whiskey but I don’t think there was a bar. We liked walking so we didn’t mind the distance to the city center, you can always grab a scooter

Villa Achenbach is a lovely hotel, nicely decorated, quiet, with beautiful grounds. the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We stayed in a suite on the lower level with a lovely patio with a nice view of the grounds. The only complaint is related to privacy. The maintenance?/garden? facility is next to our patio and there was a constant flow of people at eye level across our room and patio, so we never felt like we had any privacy on the patio or in the room unless the curtains were closed.

This is a truly beautiful small hotel located in a lovely, walkable residential neighborhood, near a street with abundant services, shops and places to eat.

The hotel is absolutely stunning and has a lot of charm to it. It looks even better in person than it does in pictures.

I didn’t like being on the top floor in a property without a lift. Lugging bags up to the top of narrow winding stairs was not ideal. The staff was very customer friendly!

Beautiful old style hotel

Need to answer the door bell at the front gate. Or just leave the gate open. It’s confusing we’re to access the property. Need to restore the buffet for breakfast for what they charge. Covid is over.

Charming building, lovely neighborhood, very comfortable and elegant room, polite and helpful staff.

Staff was exemplary- multi lingual, extremely helpful, allowing for coffee only instead of full breakfast buffet. Worked very hard to get Tv to work with English subtitles or English dubbed- without success. Overall a lovely stay. Thank you!

Hotel is nice receptionist extremely friendly and helpful. We had lady named Anna she was the best. Would definitely go back.

We loved the garden, which was a welcome respite on a hot day. We also were thrilled that a public transit ticket is provided with the room so we didn't have to figure out how to buy them! Very thoughtful.

Service was exceptional. Very helpful as we do not speak German.
