Overall, I had a very comfortable stay at the Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport City. The rooms were well-maintained and provided a relaxing environment, which was exactly what I needed during my trip. However, given its close proximity to the airport, I feel the guest experience would be significantly enhanced if the hotel offered a complimentary airport transfer service. Having to organise my own transport for such a short distance felt like a missed opportunity for added convenience. ​One aspect of the stay that I found slightly wearing was the security protocol. While I fully appreciate that the rigorous security checks at the entrance are implemented for the safety and well-being of all guests, I did find the process rather troublesome to navigate every time I returned to the building. It is a reassuring measure in principle, but in practice, it adds a layer of friction to an otherwise seamless and pleasant experience.

Great hotel near Manila Airport with free shuttle bus. It is located next to McDonald's, Seven Eleven. The food is awesome.

Power supply shut down from time to time. Lounge cafe service staff are really bad. Big bug inside bathroom. Long queue while waiting for lift, cause only use 1 lift from each wing.

My reservation was lost and I had to wait until they found it eventually stuck somewhere in the system. All through out the service was excellent and will definitely stay there again.

No hot water despite having complained for 5 days.

The hotel has lots of cockroaches and fleas because it is old, the advantage is that it is close to an airpot. Food lacks variety.

The room looked exactly the same in the pictures but there was something wrong on the bulb inside the bathroom, it 's keeps on flickering but it was fixed after 30 minutes. One cockroach was seen around the refrigerator. Breakfasts was so good.
