DO NOT STAY HERE- Very overpriced dated hotel. Rusted bathrooms, stained comforters, cramped tiny rooms. We were charged for 4 premium rooms at the same rate and given 2 tiny cramped rooms at the same elevated prices as the other 2. Dirty dated hotel in a decent location.

The hotel has a lot of potential with its lovely setting and perfect location in Exiample. Within a few feet from the metro, but our stay didn’t quite meet expectations. The room was quite small, the layout was awkward, and the AC wasn’t working well our first night. There were no tissues or any extra toiletries aside from toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner. There was no cabinets or closet space to put our things. Staff was courteous and they did move us to another room with a balcony and better layout (more like the advertised pictures) with better AC (still no closets) Our experience could be improved with more attention to detail. The location is 5 stars, truly beautiful, centralized, and safe!

The AC was very week and almost not working.

It is very well located! We could see back of La Pedrera from our room! Very clean and nice people. The only thing is the air conditioning is not very cold, so we were hot.

Sad that this hotel says it’s air conditioned when it’s simply not an effective system for the summer months in Barcelona. The only reason I booked this hotel was because it said it had a/c, it does, it’s just very weak and ineffective. They also accepted our booking when they didn’t have the room we requested until the 2nd day.

The air conditioning did not work during our stay and room was like “bunker” (no real window). Our room was in the 1 floor next to bar, so we had to maintain the curtains closed all the time.

Location is great. Clean and very helpful staff. Room was always tidy up and ready each day, Bathroom was roomy and lots of storage space. We stayed with 2 children and they were very comfortable. Breakfast was nice and lots of options. I wish we had a warm blanket in the room since some areas had more of a blast from the AC but in other areas it was hot so AC was bit of an issue but not too bad.

Around the corner from the diagonal metro station. Beautiful tree-lines street. Easy walking to restaurants (one connected on street level is very good). Extremely spacious. Air conditioning took time to catch up to our American sentiments but we borrowed a couple of fans from the staff and were quite comfortable in the heat of a Barcelona summer. Would recommend.

Stayed in the room with the cool window balcony sitting area and was amazing!

Love this place. We stayed at all kinds of hotels on our two week trip. This was our favorite.

Be aware that the check in ends at 9:00 pm. If you are running late, you dont have access to anyone or your room.

The hotel was clean, close in proximity to food, shopping, public transportation,and sight seeing would stay here again.
