Beautiful hotel. The sea front suites are great.

Here’s my experience to help you decide. 1) staff are friendly but front desk is severely understaffed, systems are archaic, check-in’s take forever, and thus waiting your turn for something as quick as - can I have a beach towel, or where is the nearest store will cost you 15-20 mins. 2) upon arrival my room wasn’t ready (OK), I changed in the bathroom, asked for info about the property such as where is the pool, the beach, normal questions. This was a burden to the staff. I stroll to the pool (need a key card) only to find that towels are back in the lobby! Refusing to walk back just yet, I walk to the beach, but then wanting to layout, I walk back to the lobby for a towel. It was only then I learn you need to leave €20 for a towel, in cash. I don’t have cash, my fault, they direct me to an atm 5 min away but the fees are exorbitant. Would have been nice if they pointed me to the Santander which is reasonable. The absence of an intro to the property & basic info would have saved me 20,000 steps. Lots of basic hotel incompetence. 3) Breakfast was a decent spread, no complaints, had all the staples you would expect if you are from a western country (eggs in several way, bacon, fruits, cheeses, yogurt and toppings etc) 4) had the buffet dinner night before my flight & steak was tough, no wine by glass, mash and sting beans not fresh/from scratch. Great desserts though! 5) my room was super spacious, fridge hardly worked, toiletries cheap & so much unfriendly plastic.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It may seem a bit dated, but very clean, and the breakfast were full of varieties. We also like the proximity to the beach and The Old Town. The staff were very helpful. This hotel will be my first choice, when next i visit Albufeira.

Lovely quiet hotel away from the crowded area. However seemed to have a lot of small flies in the hotel and nothing to solve this issue.

Staying at this hotel had versions of "The good, the bad & the ugly"! The good being the location snd breakfast. The bad was that it took over an hour to be checked in by 1 receptionist- it was check in time so should of had more staff on. The ugly being there was an major issues with flies (coming from outside , have no problem with nature) but the issue was it took 2 days for them to sweep up the piles of dead flies that were all over reception.

I liked the location of the hotel but I did not like there blend of flies not allowed us to use the balcony of our room reserved super room with see view the breakfast time start at 8 am instead of seven am so we had to leave at 7.30 am without breakfast the staff not always available when we needed them Either calling from room or presentation the desk

It is beachfront with terrific views. Handy walk to old town. Far enough out the party central. Nice pool and convenient to all facilities.

Very pleased with the hotel. Rooms were nice. It was right on the beach. Breakfast was very good.

Location was great. Daytime front desk was extremely rude and couldn’t check in until almost 1700.

Overall, it’s a nice place for the price. It’s a little less modern than other hotels but again, it’s pretty good for the price. It’s nice because it’s close to the beach and there’s a variety of breakfast options. However, it’s a little far from everything. There are a few restaurants nearby. But if you want to get around more, I suggest to rent a car as there are many places to visit in the Algarve.

It would have been great if we were elderly Portuguese people, the staff were rude we were not welcome there as an english couple. Its a place for older Portuguese people to have an affordable holiday. Don't sell to the english

Great hotel with view on a beach

Good free parkimg right at the hotel. Nice clean beach with a beach bar next door. Breakfast staff were all pleasant and efficient keeping tables cleaned quickly so there was always a clean table to sit at.

Advertisement is not quite right. It shows the building next to the beach, but they led us to another old building which is main one

Very clean ,inconvenient had to get taxis to find eating places, staff were very friendly.

Good near beach inconvenient having to get taxis to eating places. Floors dusty under beds and furniture. Long wait when changing rooms.

Close to a lovely beach, breakfast very good, rooms very clean, I have only one recommendation for the hotel, the shower head needed descaling, everything was very good value.

Great overall stay accommodation is a little dated and flooring and shower tray could be replaced but apart from that holiday was great!
