Centrally located hotel with reasonable price and helpful staff. Room was good but outdated furniture.

Staff was really helpful and there was 24 hr security at all time and as a solo female traveller I felt incredibly safe. Breakfast was really good and they actually had different menus rotating. Location was really good and close to everything including metro and buses.

This hotel has character and is well located. Short walk to a variety of restaurants and Ipanema beach. There was an issue with the A/C in our room and the desk manager was able to move us to another room. The quality and variety of food at breakfast was good.

Great location, close to restaurants, the beach and other attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast had many options and lots of different fruits and juices which I enjoyed. Great service! I would recommend.

Overall, a solid 3-star hotel located in an excellent location. I can't really think of anything to complain about, since everything was as promised and consistent with a 3-star hotel. Do not expect 5-star accommodations at a 3-star hotel; you will be very happy with Hotel Vermont.

Iboerto (sorry about the spelling) at front reception was extremely helpful and constantly looked after us. Good location close to everything.

Breakfast was a solid spread. Cleaning staff were very kind. This has the necessities. The beds aren't very comfortable though.

The hotel is a perfect location. Very close to the beach, easily walkable from hotel to there. Shopping and restaurants right outside. It was perfect. The stafff was very friendly and helpful all the time. The room was very clean. Perfect for couples. To get into the shower might be a problem if you’re a bigger person. My friends had trouble on a cruise so I try to notice that more breakfast was very nice with lots of options. Fruit, breakfast meat, tons of drinks and pastries . Would definitely come back for location and the great time we had.

The room is small. Could not use the chair at the desk because there was no room for a chair. The room cleaner also did not go in to clean the narrow aisle where the chair could not fit. The breakfast was amazing. The manager walked around like a security guard without greeting the guests.

Our stay was very comfortable. The room is clean and the breakfast buffet was actually very good. The location was perfect, only a five minute walk to Ipanema Beach. Plus they give you free beach towels, and umbrellas.

Lots of shops. Even a grocery store and a drugstore. Many restaurants. The area is excellent. Everything you need is right there.
