Room was comfortable and clean, with very good coffee and tea facilities, including fresh milk. Breakfast good. Owners could not have been more friendly and helpful

No request is too much trouble for the hosts, who go above and beyond to ensure a truly comfortable stay. There are also several wonderful beaches within a 10–20 minute drive, perfect if you’d like to explore beyond Torquay seafront.

A gem of a place! We had a lovely stay, the rooms had everything we needed, a warm welcome and amazing breakfast. We will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends if they need a place to stay when in Torquay.

The hosts Dennis and Helga made us feel so welcome. They were very attentive to our needs. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast choice was fantastic. The location was excellent being close to public transport. Parking was right in front of the property. Highly recommend.

Wonderful little place, from the moment we arrived Helga and Denys were so welcoming. Room was spotless and well appointed, water in fridge each day was a lovely touch. Breakfast, as many have said, was on a par with a 5* hotel. By far the best place we’ve stayed in Torquay. It’s a little way back, but #12 bus round corner and Torre station is a 2 minute walk, also one of the quietest places you’ll find. Would definitely return and recommend for anyone visiting Torquay 👍

Immaculately clean and tidy. Very quiet. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. The owners , Helga and Deneys were lovely and offered a warm welcome.

Nice b&b , Deney and Helga were lovely host's . Lovely rooms perfect for a few nights with all the facilities you need and great showers. Easy walking distance into Lovely Torquay. Wouldn't hesitate using again in the future.

Excellent hotel,room was beautiful with garden terrace. Breakfast was very good especially the omelette thats a must.nothing was too much trouble. The hosts where lovely. I could go on all day writing good reviews but i need to learn how to make that omelette it was out of this world my hubby addicted.

We had an amazing stay at Arran Lodge. Dennis and Helena was wonderful and caring hosts. Took time to chat to us and we felt welcome. Very neat and spotless comfortable rooms with necessary amenities and nice breakfast.

We really enjoyed staying at Arran Lodge. Every single thing has been meticulously & tastefully done. We felt like we were staying at a four star hotel with the loveliest owners ever! Ashtray is provided for the balcony’s if needed! A beautiful clean room with fridge, fresh milk & bottled water daily, coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, cakes! There’s a hairdryer & iron too. Would highly recommend staying for the breakfasts! They’re amazing! So much choice & very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again. Torquay & Babbacombe sea front are the best places to visit in the area!

Wonderful room, very nicely decorated with nice features like downlights in 3 different areas & a nice ceiling fan/light. Breakfast was amazing, I cannot fault my stay. The hosts were great, I will definitely return when I am next in the area.
