Very friendly, and super helpful staff especially Maria in the reception, definitely going back there for our next vacation

Lady a the reception was a charm but that is where it ended. No real beach access unless you spend a minimum with a rude restaurant owner. Pictures on the site do not represent the reality.

Best place

Maria and her family and friends came together to assist us with a memorable and restful holiday. The Hotel room was clean, spacious and had balconies for drinks and breakfast. There were so many great places to eat and drink in Kamari and we were able to get transport all over the island to see or do whatever took our fancy from the activities on offer on Santorini. The trip on the catermeran to see the sunset and wine tasting at Santo Wines were 2 of the highlights. We went out of season so it was quiet and not too crowded. We did have to check with the activity providers, though, because some things were not quite open yet in April. We went for 4 nights and stayed for 6 nights. Hoping to go back!

The entire is amazing!

My stay at was one of the best in my whole Trip!! 😀 Maria de Admin of the place and Fotini were were absolutely AMAZING!! No words to describe my experience, they guide ne and helped me with everything. The room had enough space, clean, and had security box which was important for me. The beach is located right infl front of the hotel and the breakfast was the most delicious in Greece! Buffet style 😋 Thank you so much Maria, Fotini and all the crew of the hotel!!!

Our room at Makris Beach Hotel was more like a little apartment with a kitchen and lounge area, although no cooking facilities. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff cleaned them everyday. The patio area was quite small but enough for a couple of chairs and table and a drying rack for clothes. Breakfast was ok with eggs, fruit and bakery items but was a bit repetitive after a few days. The hotel is right by the beach and lots of restaurants nearby although you do have to pay for sun beds. There is also a mini mart next door for snacks and water. Overall a good place to stay with friendly and helpful staff.

It was very clean and tidy. Full Kitchen and Washer/Dryer for clothes would be preferable.

We had a great stay! Our greeting was so kind and we were able to keep our bags in reception so we could walk around while we waited for our room. The room was very comfortable!

The place is ok but I can’t put up noises from somewhere and I’m lacking sleep most Night

Loved the room and the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delivered every morning, very nice! Area is beautiful, just a few steps from the beach. Beach is not sand, but very rocky, like the rest of the island. Beach front restaurants are expensive but lots of options within the village area. Check out Tom’s, he has very good seafood! Oyi is about 25 min drive, car rental is about 35€, and not too bad too drive in off season.

Front desk maria was amazing!

The breakfast was expected to be by the beach instead was delivered in our room. The problem with it is that we had no choice of what we can eat. Being seniors we both need to watch our diet due to our health conditions, so we couldn’t eat their food, mostly loaded with sugar or cholesterol. Also very limited items were sent to us and “american coffee was more like washed down 3rd day recycled grounds. Definitely not what we paid for.

The hotel was very clean, and the front desk/reception ladies were very helpful and so kind. There is a ton of shopping around the hotel, the beach is beautiful and the staff on the beach and hotel restaurant (Prince) were amazing. The breakfast service was phenomenal. Overall 1000/10 would stay here a thousand times over!

If you're looking for somewhere that is just amazing - look no further. From the moment you arrive you'll feel so relaxed. I'd recommend getting the room with the spa with beach view - it is great! You'll also likely have the lovely Maria at the front desk who is just such a friendly person to meet while travelling or the Makris brothers when you go to the beach club downstairs. We'd been travelling for about a month and just put this at the end of our trip, we wish we'd have stayed longer. The property is in great condition and the rooms are very comfortable, it is the perfect location and the people make it. Book and enjoy you won't regret it (just stay for a few nights so you can get the best out of the area)
