All staff here were absolutely fantastic and very friendly. We had a great stay here. The facilities were great for our boys also

You get what you pay for i was here briefly for two nights the staff is attentive and the single rooms are acceptable. It was very hot and there was no curtains so good if you don’t plan on spending much time in the room.

They had an overbooking in the hostel so upgraded my to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable.

Perfect location and facilities^-)

This was a basic option for accommodation in Maribor. The outside and inside are much more run down than the pictures show, however there is a shared entrance with Hotel Orel which is much newer and nicer. The hostel rooms are through the hotel and across into another building which was much more run down. The room did not have air conditioning (I missed that on the room info) so it was very hot and humid at night. Our room was also on the main pedestrian shopping street, great for location, terrible for noise! You can hear everyone talking as if they are in the room, and street cleaners at night...we hardly got any sleep. We had to keep the window open otherwise it would have been stifling. Bathroom was tiny, barely enough room for 1 person, but functional. This hostel has a great location but that is mainly what you are paying for. Parking is offered onsite for 11 euro, we stayed on a Sunday so took advantage of free street parking.

Hostel and hotel are located in the same building in the very center of the town. Parking is available on site, just know - it’s €11 and they have to let you into the pedestrian zone. So rather than putting hotel address into your GPS, contact the hotel and they give you an exact point from which you can get in. It was a very hot day so our room was quite warm but we booked this place knowing there is no AC. Everything was super clean and appeared new, I think they remodeled the whole place. Definitely recommend.

Good location in pedestrian zinger of Maribor Room was good size but especially sparse, only a table and tv provided Bed was comfortable but pillows were not Fine for a couple nights stay in central Maribor Would recommend for budget travelers, if you are looking for comfort and luxury this is not for you

Nice and central

Fantastic Hostel right in the centre of Maribor. Incredibly clean, with lovely staff. Highly recommend staying at the Hostel.

The hostel was easy to find and only a 10 minute walk from the train station. The location was perfect, right in the downtown close to everything. The room was clean and the staff was really helpful. I will stay here again.

Decor and lobby were nice, staff was excellent. The bathroom and the kitchen were too small, inconvenient, but for 1 night it was fine. The beds/duvets were comfortable, but if the 1 pillow didn't work for you, you might be out of luck.

Great location, very friendly staffs, very clean

A university hostel with comfortable single rooms with private bathrooms in the center of Maribor for a more than reasonable price. A very kind and friendly staff fluently speaking English: they accomodate me in my room at 8 a.m.!!!

In terms of private rooms at least, the UNI could not be better. It shares professional reception desk and staff with the adjoining Hotel Orel, in a passage off the main square. The single room in the hostel was spacious and affordable, its bathroom swish and modern, its in-room WiFi strong and the bed comfortable. In fact, I cannot think of a better example of a decent single room at this price, this close to the main square in any European city.

Room a bit frayed at the edges but very spacious and clean. New good bathroom. Central location and friendly and quick check-in. Felt room (at around 30 Euros) represented really good value for money for a single room.

Very central but fairly small and Spartan room. Reception were efficient and accurate. Excellent price. Area abounds in cafes but service in restaurant near hotel was poor though friendly.

We were upgraded to hotel Orel next to Uni, rooms and breakfast were wonderful, great location in Maribor. Our conference was in hotel City, which is really close. Christmas decorations in December were pretty and there was a concert every evening.

Hotel is very well situated and room is really fine, only quite creaky beds, but this price is great value, I can recommend accommodation there!
