The room was very on theme, and it had everything you needed. However, due to spring time there were a couple of bugs too close to the room and one inside. The staff is very very helpful and nice and they fixed then problem immediately.

An old building with tired furnishings and decor and noisy plumbing. Beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was OK. Staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was OK for one night as we didn't spend much time in it. But if you want modern, new and stylish, this isn't for you.

The staff were lovely and the attached restaurant was great. Sadly our room (11) was run down with lots of problems. The shower was broken so it was hard to set the temperature - an issue with a child. I found the beds to be very soft - something I'm not used to. The worst part though was a large fan outside the room that ran all day and night making it very noisy. As the room overlooked the smoking area if anyone smokes it infiltrates the room. The car park was very tight as well.

Parking was a little difficult, due to the position right at the road junction, but other drivers were considerate and it didn’t take long to enter or exit.

Gurkha style food served in restaurant was nice but a bit pricey. Room was very small but OK for the night.

The room was above an Indian restaurant. We did not stay there.

Room was clean but dated. Staff were great. Shower was only a trickle and breakfast was below average.

The hotel was convenient for the town centre and Blenheim Palace. It could do with some tlc, but was ok for the price. The staff were very friendly and the attached restaurant was nice.

Really friendly staff. Clean enough. Only downside was the efficiency of the shower.

I know it's a budget hotel, but when your rooms are more expensive than the local Travelodge I was expecting them to be on-par or exceeding the quality of the local Travelodge. The TV was laughable, the coffee was laughable, the "complimentary toiletries" were non-existent. The breakfast was lackluster, especially considering the professional kitchen at their disposal. Should have got a Travelodge

We couldn't get the shower to work but was quickly remedied. The room is a bit tired and smelt of damp, which to a degree is to be expected in an old building but was a bit overbearing at times

One night stay in Witney. The hotel was good value, quiet room (despite being near busy road) and staff were lovely.

Ignore any negative reviews. If you're paying this price, it's fair to expect a few compromises. But a comfortable night's sleep and a filling breakfast was very welcome. The staff are friendly and the curry for dinner was just what the doctor ordered.
