Wow, what a beautiful place. Our 'room' was bigger than the downstairs of our house back in the UK. Keith was wonderful. Told us the history of his home. We were only sorry thst we'd only got one night there.

It's a great property in a beautiful natural environment. The owner is very pleasant and knows the area well. The room was basic but comfortable, no complaints. Best part of the stay was walking around the large property, listening to the birds and reading a book in the shade. Loved it.

What a beautiful place to escape to. Rooms and grounds were immaculate. Keith our host was polite, knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. Perfect for a romantic getaway for couples of all ages. I highly recommend the breakfast with the birds, Keith makes the perfect boiled eggs.

Keith was a fantastic host. So accommodating and inviting. He showed us around the property and gave us great tips on where to go in the area as well as where to head when in Australia Zoo. The gardens and area surrounding the property was gorgeous. Our girls loved helping cook in the rail carriage kitchen and eat in the shared diner and outdoor seating area. The surrounding areas are great. Will totally recommend to anyone I know visiting the area.

Beautiful grounds and very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped but having no fridge or coffee making facilities in our room was inconvenient. No TV was fine. A full length mirror would have been good.

Fantastic place. Very original and eco friendly for an off track experience. Ingenious restoration of church building and railway carriages as accommodation.

The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and pots and pans. Several bird species flying around the property in the morning. I could walk to one of the hiking trails of the national park from this lodge. The room was great and only about a 15 minute drive to the Australia zoo.

Beautiful property, very peaceful yet wonderful place for kids to explore. Cute features like community and fairy gardens and recycling displays. Love the old repurposed train too. The room itself was basic, but had everything we needed. Perfect location for us for Australia Zoo. Would throughly recommend and visit again.

Keith was very welcoming when we arrived and showed us around and to our room. You can see the years of devotion he has given to this place that have resulted in a truly unique and memorable place. Absolutely fantastic, wish we had stayed for longer.

Nestled amongst the trees with a garden view of the mountain. Lots of walks nearby and the tavern in town is a short 5min drive (great food). We stayed here because of the proximity to the zoo; 12mins by car. The service was personal and breakfast at the train was simple and yummy. Thank you.

It just wasn't for us. The place could do with a fresh coat of paint, some kind of TV in the rooms and some new beds. It looks like it needs some investment. Just wasn't for us.

What a find! …location is exceptional . We enjoyed the fabulous bungalow accommodation set in the heart of the Glasshouse mountains and only a 15 min drive to the Australia zoo. Keith the host was amazing and even helped us check-in 3 hours late. A special mention to Sally who was an extra ray of sunshine at breakfast. A walk around the grounds and seeing the quirky additions and woodland/creek wander is certainly worth doing. Just wish we’d had longer in the area
