Pros: Excellent area in historic Rome, lots of shops & sites in close proximity. Piazza Navona was literally mins away walking distance. We booked 2 rooms, good size & bathroom was a good size too by European standards. Very comfortable and clean.
Cons: I reported a white cashmere shawl missing from our room - I used it to sleep with for added warmth. I never took it out of the room, yet one day we returned to the room & it was gone. I suspected the maid service took it with the sheets. I spoke to staff every day asking for them to check with the laundry service. No luck, not found and they didn’t seem to care about the situation. I asked for management to file a report & was told that they were out of town and handed me a business card. I emailed requesting for compensation, no response. I’ve never experienced this, a missing item from my room, in all my years of traveling. I strongly advise you don’t leave things laying around here.
