This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. They have no coffee in the room, no laundry service. We had to check in through the restaurant since there is never anyone at the reception. At check out, we had to leave early (6am) and there was no one there again, he asked us to wait till 8 am even when we told him we had a flight. We were never even informed that reception is not available 24x7 which is the norm at 4 star hotels. Not a pleasant stay.

Hôtel sympa et bien placé

Location is great, staff is courteous, professional and nice. Clean rooms, definitely a great place to stay in Cour-Cheverny.

The hotel is fine and very well located. However, there are things to underline. We had a deluxe room well decorated. Nevertheless, it was located at the end of a long corridor. We encountered 10 stairs (a flight of 7 stairs and 2 of 2 stairs). It was not mentioned at all. Since we arrive late we were alone... It should have been noted; actually we could have been not able to use these stairs. It has been a challenge (sometimes when you book you don't know few weeks after we won't be able to use stairs thus you don't ask...). The Room (213) quite small. We requested a breakfast in the room, the staff did not where to put the tray. There was only a small console table. We thought a deluxe was bigger than a standard room that is 15 sq meters. It was a mistake... An advice: in the description mention the size of the room...

Great location and we had a great family room to accommodate both our two teens with separate twin beds.

The rooms were very nice the air conditioning worked well during record heat and the service was very good. The restaurant food for the price was not as good as we expected

Great place, great food . The room is basic but clean . The hotel states that they take AMEX.... but they do not . The open fire in the restaurant is fantastic and the restaurant staff extremely friendly

Very attentive desk clerk, although she could have used some help at check in time, as there were many waiting. Very courteous and helpful.

The hotel is an interesting building in an interesting town. The allocated room was comfortable but lacked a decent sized window so was very dark. Reasonable restaurant with good staff and satisfactory food. Good wine is available.

After we booked we immediately received a phone call making us aware the room was without air conditioning. It would have been nice to know prior to booking

Good location near Chambord and Cheverny, with good restaurant on the square in a charming small town. Friendly and helpful staff. Older building has been fully modernized with elevator, but has a lot of short stairways in halls and small rooms.

Lovely room, great shower, good food and friendly staff

This hotel is perfect for visiting Chateaux in the area. The restaurant was excellent.

It was lovely. Elouiza, the manager was fun, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and it was a buffet that offered a multitude of choices.

Everything was great, but we arrived at 19:00 and there was an envelope with my name on the front desk and they just left my the card room and even charged the whole stay before I was checked in and I wanted to pay in cash, so they should have waited for me to get there. That was really upsetting, but the cleaniness and the hotel was great.

Staff is very nice, room very comfortable, and the location convenient to visit several of the most important chateaux in the Loire. The restaurant is outstanding; we ate three dinners there and all were superb. I'd definitely stay again if in the area.

Good location to explore Loire chateaus but must have a car. Restaurant at the hotel is great with good food selection. I would stay there again.

Clean, comfortable, convenient. Good two night location.

Beautiful recently renovated old building. Great Restaurant at bargain prices. Room was fairly small for country living and close to big generators on the back of the church.
