Before I start, this is a 400 year old building, full of character and creeks. I received a warm welcome and was shown to my room, not the biggest double I have stayed in. It was clean but small, not luxurious but right for the price. The bathroom was bigger and clean. The floors slope but this added to the character and very authentic. The lady at breakfast was very pleasant and made me a bacon and egg sandwich to take away - it was one of the best butties I have had - 10/10!!

Historic pub was a fun stay. Understand that this place is VERY old and comes with some quirks. New owners, Chris & Tasha were a pleasure and sure to inject new life into the business.

Rooms are above a bar and the floor slopes at quite an angle which makes is difficult to walk. The staff was lovely but the room was generally not very comfortable.

When I booked this accommodation I did so to be an easy walk to Windsor Castle. I expected it to be a simple, and authentic English pub experience. I was not disappointed. The building itself is 600 years old. You could feel the history of the in the twisted staircase and floor boards. The room itself was quite spacious with the character one would expect in a 600-year-old building. The little extras were spot on and my only regret was that I hadn't booked more than one night. Parking my rental car was easy in their private lot. We arrived early and our room was ready and the manager checked us right in. We had a 1:30 entrance ticket to Windsor Castle and early check in was just what we needed. For a true English experience, I highly recommend the Crown and Cushion.

Excellent location minutes walk to Windsor Castle. Nice old pub with rooms upstairs. Nice on suite bathroom with towels and shampoo & soap provided. Free onsite car park just for rooms which is rare in Windsor.

Loved this inn? The building is over 500+ years old & therefore comes with the quirks of a very old place. That does give it character but you need to know what your are getting into. There are steep stairs & unlevel floors. All the things we love but it is not for everyone. The breakfast was great & the staff are outstanding. Location also outstanding.

If you would like to save some money, and want to stay in a historic building, this is the way to go. Everybody was really nice, there was a free hot breakfast that was to order. The rooms were simple and comfortable.

Room was ok, breakfast was nice, good location and parking. Nice quirky building. What ruined it was mattress was so old and and the springs dug in you every time you moved.

Own car park for guests was a winner, easy to access the hotel entrance with luggage. Very welcoming and cheerful staff. Our room was very spacious and everything was very clean, comfortable bed, couldn't fault anything. Lunch and breakfast was good too. Would definitely stay here again.
