The place to sleep is very comfortable. only the rooms are small, but with that price it is enough for a traveler to just go to sleep. Pretty good experience.

The accommodation is very neat and the staff are very nice. They also maintain the cleanliness of the room and the toilet. It is also close to the night market which offers different must-try Taiwanese street food in affordable prices. Plus it is just a 20min walk to Taipei main station but if you don't want to walk a bit far you have the option to walk to the other two stations maybe a 10-15min walk from the hotel.

Poor sound insulation. Guests still make noise in the hallway at midnight.

Take note this is a dormitory so expect that there will be bed spacer aside from you or your friend. The place is so small. Can't even fit the 4 of you if you stand altogether out of your bed so my friend and I just always stayed in bed if we are at the hotel. But overall, the whole place is clean and comfortable. It is very convenient and recommendable for backpackers and have a tight budget.

Breakfast is ok, room is cleaned daily and replenished with bottled water. However, it gets noisy with the sound of shuffling feet from the upper floor and young people's loud voices in the hallway at various times of the day. The nearest MRT station Shuanglian is a far 500-meter walk.

Book a dorm room for girls only. The place is clean, the bed is comfortable, there are curtains that can be installed to cover all parts of the bed so there is privacy. AC is OK too. Then inside there is a kind of storage box for putting objects in the heart (the key is to buy at the reception), lights and plugs. There is also a table for putting things in and a clothes hanger. Overall fun. Front desk can speak English pretty well. There are also many bathrooms, complete with showers and basic toiletries. There is a washing machine too. for the toilet there is a toilet seat, there is a toilet Japanese model is what to say, but everything is clean! then there's a hair dryer. For locations, once near Ning Xia road night market, just walk for 1-3 minutes. So convenience if you want to find a typical Taiwanese meal. but for Muslims like me the only choice is to have the buble tea and fresh cut fruits lol But if it's from the MRT station it's quite a long way, around 5-10 minutes. Get off at the Shuanglian MRT station, take exit 1 and then when you leave, turn left and follow the shops until you reach the hotel. Shuanglian MRT Plus does not have an escalator down to exit 1 so those who carry a suitcase as big as Gaban must be prepared to go down the usual stairs to get to the MRT platform: D Oh yes, for breakfast for Muslims nothing much to eat Just take breakfast on the second day of staying, eat toast with jam and a cup of coffee plus lemon juice. It's what you can eat for non-Muslims, because they have a hot pot with a variety of other buffet-style menus. So after that I didn't have breakfast at the hotel because of nothing much to eat. Maybe they can add fresh fruits or cereals perhaps, that would be better. Overall, the stay here is pleasant, comfortable and in accordance with the price paid.

CU Hotel Taipei is a very good hostel to stay at. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Plus it’s a 5-10 minutes walk from the shuanglian station and 2 minute walk to the Ningxia night market. There also a lot of commercial areas nearby. Very safe surroundings as well.

The place is ok. Please take note that they don't give free tooth brush and towels though you can ask for a towel on the reception area with a deposit of 200 Taiwan Dollars so if you come here on a tight budget you better come here with a 300 Taiwan dollar as an extra pocket money since they ask for a 100 taiwan dollar deposit for the locker and 200 depo for the towel *towel is optional* and on top of that a 20 taiwan dollar cleaning fee for the towel. unlike other places that offers free of everything

I'll be staying here again the next time i'm in taipei. Lots of cheaper options around, but this place is worth the price. Excellent location - ningxia night market is right downstairs! Free snacks and drinks at the minibar from 6-930pm daily. Pantry has a fridge and some free tea. Room is clean. Entire place is clean. The place actually looks like the photos. Never had to queue to use the toilet or shower in the morning. No towels provided, there's shampoo and soap though. Dorm beds have curtains. Note for the dorms: everyone has their own card to access the room and one of you has to put theirs in the slot to get the power going. If that person leaves, someone has to replace the card in the slot. Bit of a hassle if it's the middle of the night and you have to get up just to get the ac to come back on.

I stay for 3 nights in CU hotel and I booked for a shared room for four but I was shocked that I was the only one in the room for the entire 3 nights. The room is quite good with shared bathroom and a pantry. Breakfast tastes good and their service is awesome. Thank you for accommodating me for my Solo Trip in Taiwan.
