The hostel was great and so was the service. Very cleen too

Friendly crew Room itself was annoying configured lamp not placed optional(not in middle) -kids screaming each night -no hairspray or deodorant

Good facilities. Pantry was well equipped with basic kitchen equipment and many fridges and freezers to store our cold food.

Not the easiest place to find (it is up a long flight of stairs, off the main road), but a friendly welcome at reception. Good communication (via email) before I arrived, checking if I wanted to order bed linen, etc (as it's a hostel). Room was modern, clean, comfy bed. All the bathrooms are shared (located out in the main corridor), but I never had any issue with toilets/showers being occupied whilst I stayed. There's a communal living room and also a kitchen area allowing you to cook meals, etc, and space allocated in the fridges for each room so you can keep food in there). I stayed here as there was a book fair on in Gothenburg so a lot of the hotels were full, but it was fine for everything I needed whilst I stayed.

Made feel welcome by staff- nice &clean - A nice atmosphere - very homely Easy to reach by tram.

SEK 1350 for this place is way over priced. Should be half that price. At that price I would recommend it.

I hesitated to book a room with a shared bathroom in the beginning, but thankfully I did not make a wrong decision. The bathrooms are private cabins. Everything was perfectly clean. Room tidy, nicely designed and comfortable, staff there is one of the most positive, polite and enthusiastic I ever met so far, I wish I could stay another day to enjoy the quietness of the place and Scandinavian type of comfort and hospitality.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, showers/toilets and kitchen. The location is fairly accessible even though it is not very near the central station.

Please be aware that this is a hostel, so you need to either bring your own towel/bed linen or rent from the hostel. You also need to clean the room before you leave or alternatively, pay for the cleaning cost. Consider these items and their associated costs when you book for a room.

Although our room was very small, it was well thought out and the facilities were all new. The hostel itself though is really hard to find, and you have to clean the room yourself when you leave or you pay extra!! I've never heard of that before. Staff were also very difficult to find as they didn't work many hours. Overall though, it was good.

Ideally located for a wander around Gothenburg, I was surprised by the quality of it all. The staff at reception were welcoming and happy to make recommendations for my visit. The cabin was more spacious than I expected and a lot nicer than I was expecting. Drench shower in a wet room, comfortable bed, desk, very happy with it all. The only 'negative' would be the noise from above. Chairs scratching on the deck above and a few voices from outside the room could easily be heard. I've been on boats (this is a little bigger than a boat, you'll be impressed by the size as you walk to it) before so the noise was expected and no issue to me, but could annoy some if you're unaware of what to expect. A great hotel and a must stay, at least for one night!

We liked the hostel pretty much but there was construction at the time we stayed. Hope the surrounding will get better when the construction is over. Also, for those who're coming, please recheck the check-in time with the staff. They have limited check-in time when you can pay and collect your key. One more thing, they charge for the bed linen and towels so bring your own if you don't want to pay extra.
