Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food choice is excellent and so well prepared. Yes its noisy at dinner and breakfast but whst do you expect when there so msny families. Hot location is true ski in/out. Rooms and generally the hotel is very tired abd could do with a lot of modernising. Wifi signal is awful. We had a family room which is joining rooms. Nice and spacious Cleaners do a thorough job but we found blood stains on the bedsheets and pillows. Beds are hard but thats typical across Italy.

Excellent food, but being very much a family hotel it was a bit noisy at meal times.

The whole experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived at the reception and got very little information from the staff there to our departure. We arrived on a Thursday and were only given a sheet of paper with the list of services available and floors. We weren't given any information on skiing, or even told that it had closed for the day. When we asked again at reception the next morning about kids skiing lessons we saw on the kids club wall we were told that's only for those who arrive on a Sunday. Nobody told us there are tours available for non skiers, we only saw a note on a board on our last night. The restaurant is a nightmare, the level of noise makes it impossible to have a conversation over dinner so for us it became a mission to get food into us as fast as we could and leave. And staff don't clear plates until you leave, so if there is 4 of you in a small square table, by the time you get your main course you are surrounded by dirty plates and trying to make space for the kids. There is a soft drinks machine which was basically always empty apart from water and some kind of fake Fanta type orange that sprayed everywhere.. After we ate our dinner as quickly as we could, we would go into the theatre area which was generally full of screaming kids but still so much quieter than the restaurant and have an after dinner drink there. The shows are all in Italian even though there are a few non Italian speaking guests but they are never included.

Overall stay was fantastic, New Year’s Eve was spoiled by the restaurant manager! We were told we did not have a reservation for New Year’s Eve and was asked to leave very rudely😡 after being embarrassed in front of the whole restaurant, we decided to leave without having the New Year’s Eve meal. So thank you very much to the manager of the restaurant at the th pila.

It is a very noisy hotel. Entertainment, “Butlins” style, every night until midnight which can be easily heard in most of the rooms due to having an open stairwell and no doors to each floor. The food was good, plenty of choice, but you do have to battle through many people to get it. Excellent location on the piste with a superb locker room (although there is a charge to use it). If crowds and entertainment are not your thing, this probably isn’t the hotel for you. However, for location, it is perfect.

Staff extremely friendly, very good food. Room small but functional. Need swim hat to use the pool. Would return.

Based on reviews we had a few concerns about TH Pila, but we had a very enjoyable stay. The position is excellent ski in ski out and a perfect location onto the slopes. The restaurant area is busy and a bit canteen like but food quality is very good and there is plenty of choice. Wine prices very reasonable too. Staff very friendly and overall I recommend and would definitely return.

Skiën tot aan het hotel. Zeer goede lockers voor je skimateriaal. Ondanks het grote hotel, was het toch rustig in de gangen. Alleen in het restaurant was het soms te druk en lawaaierig. Overvloed van eten.

Ski in ski out hervorragend! Essen einfach lecker, Animation top! Saunabereich und Pool in die Jahre gekommen...

Great location for skiing

Posizione perfetta per sciare, anche per chi, come noi, è partito senza auto. Si arriva con la telecabina direttamente da Aosta. Servizi tipici del villaggio, con animazione per tutte le età, particolarmente indicata per i bambini che sciano, vengono seguiti tutto il giorno. Pasti a buffet abbastanza vari. Unica nota negativa, all'arrivo della telecabina non abbiamo trovato nessun modo per raggiungere la struttura se non a piedi, e con tutti i bagagli non è stato agevole. Non sarebbe male prevedere un transfer. Esperienza da ripetere.
