Don’t recommend staying here. Rooms were not clean, sheets and towels could do with a wash, mosquitoes in the room. Very limited breakfast option. Overall not a clean place to stay. It’s cheap for a reason, they pay no attention to cleaning, hygiene or customer service.

Despite arriving stupidly early from an overnight train, the staff were happy to check me in which was great as it meant I had 2 full days exploring the temples of Khajuraho. The room is spartan and strictly no frills. Considering the price paid, it's clean, comfortable and functional. The bathroom was okay, but absolutely no problem with hot water, WiFi and rom service was decent. Location wise, it's about 20 minute walk to the Western group of temples, so no problems with traffic or noise. It's also about 30 minute walk to the airport if you're bloody minded enough. This hotel is excellent value for money and would stay again.

Good hotel that does the job. Staff is honest and good intentioned - the check in person was honest in advising me that the town/attractions are all within walking distance when the taxi driver was hassling me about taking a car. Rooms are basic but clean and has cable tv channels.

We enjoyed our stay in Eurostar and felt that we were treated as a family member. It is a clean and convenient budget hotel in Khajuraho

The good - very clean hotel, rooms were good, beds were comfy, location was ok. Autos are readily available nearby. There's a small shop close by and it only cost about Rs30 for an auto into town, 5 mins away, or a 15-20 min walk. The BAD - went there in Jan (3 rooms, 2 nights, deluxe rooms with AC) and the place was absolutely freezing!! On asking for a heater we were told it would be an extra Rs 500 per room. - As with many places in India now, the water is heated by solar. In winter, with fog and cloudy skies a routine experience, hot water was not available. Arriving tired after a long journey at 11am, and finding no hot water and freezing cold rooms, let's just say this was extremely disappointing. To their credit the staff organized a wood/coal fire to heat water the next morning - great hot showers then. - Expedia advertised a 'Full buffet breakfast'. Guess what we got? Tea and a slice of toast and jam. On making a fuss about this (about 8 bain-marie's were set up at the dining room) we were told that buffet's were only when the hotel was full, and even in that case only toast was offered in the bain-maries. What a joke!!! And a rip-off, considering the hotel was chosen because it did offer a "Full Buffet Breakfast". - The hotel manager was not to be seen anywhere till the last few hours of our stay. The staff, while friendly enough, were not very competent. Checking in 8 people was tedious. -(Poor) Wifi access was only available in reception /dining areas

We went end November 2014 and had booked 4 rooms. The Hotel manager Ravi has very helpful and ensured our stay was very comfortable. Only thing we regretted was that we should not have booked Ac rooms since it was very cold there and none of used Ac rooms. In any case for the price we paid Rs 1525 per room with complimentary breakfast it was value for money.

Hotel is not near the main area so transportation was needed for meals, etc. Initial reception was poor, had the beds wrong, everyone seemed indifferent, untrained. The next day a manager was there who was very competent and made things much better. The hotel and room are plain, mattress thin, breakfast average, shower the usual thing that splatters all over the bathroom. Nothing special, not terrible. Needs consistent good management.

We arrived with a night train in Khajuraho and were already at 7am in the Hotel Eurostar Inn, where the reception was warm and friendly. In contrast to all other places where we stayed, our room was already prepared and we could move straight in. Our room was quiet large, light and everything was new and spotlessly clean (also unlike other hotels and to our greatest delight the double bed had no gap in the middle in to which one of us would disappear at night). The room had a balcony, air conditioning and a bed table lamp with a switch accessible from the bed (!!! not a given at all in India). The Hotel also offered an exquisite Northern Indian breakfast (baji puri). Although the view of our specific room was not so nice, there was a lovely little green front garden with papaya trees and several Tulsi bushes. All temples and restaurants of Khajuraho can be reached by a small hike. The Eurostar Inn was like an oasis in the tohuwabohu of this little village. The best thing about the Eurostar Inn are the personnel that is not only very competent and helpful, but reliable and very engaged! We particularly liked the young manager who is smart and very quick. At night, in the new and modern foyer, we had insightful discussions with the owner of Eurostar about India and its culture All in all, this was our most pleasant stay out of seven Hotels in India.
